BTS Army has again been awarded as the artist of the year. They have got another reason for their celebration. The army consists of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook who have won the Artist Of The Year Award at the Korean Music Awards for the third time. BTS Army has created history by becoming the first idol group ever to win the Artist of the year in the year 2018. They have again won the second award in the same field in 2019 itself. This year i.e. 2022 they have won it for the third time.
BTS Army has taken it to Twitter in order to announce and simultaneously celebrate the achievement. One of the fans has written, “BTS won the “Musician of the Year” Daesang at the 2022 Korean Music Awards! Congratulations kings deserved! BTS have 65daesangs now.” Another one tweeted, “I will always be congratulating BTS bc they keep bagging awards, no one does it like BTS”.
BTS Army is going to perform for their concert in Seoul, Permission To Dance On Stage from 10th March to 14th March. It is going to be the first offline concert in two years. In the month of April, the group is going to attend the Grammys, and then later on they will host a concert for four days in Vegas.
Earlier, BTS Army has shared their anxiety as five of their members had contracted Covid and also Jimin had undergone surgery for appendicitis. Although the band has recovered and is back on its path and started their rehearsals, which we have come to know from their recently flooded photos on Instagram.
In The Korean Music Awards, Aespa has bagged a total of three awards, including two of the major ones (the four main awards that span all music genres). They won Song of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Best K-Pop Song for their song Next Level. South Korean singer and actor IU won Best Pop Song and Best Pop Album.
