BTS ARIRANG Album: Ryan Tedder Calls It the “Craziest Thing” He’s Ever Done — ARMYs, Get Ready!

If you needed one more reason to lose sleep over BTS’s upcoming album ARIRANG, here it is. Ryan Tedder — the Grammy-winning frontman of OneRepublic and one of music’s most sought-after producers — has publicly declared his work on the BTS album as one of the most extraordinary projects of his entire career. And this man has worked with Adele, Taylor Swift, and Beyoncé. Let that sink in.

BTS ARIRANG — Key Details

What Ryan Tedder Actually Said

Speaking to the crowd at OneRepublic’s From Asia, With Love 2026 concert in Seoul, Tedder openly hyped the album — and then joked he’d get in trouble for saying more. He gushed about being blown away by how talented the BTS members are, describing the project as unlike anything he’d ever taken on in his whole career. He wrapped up his mini-revelation by assuring the crowd that fans are going to love it, before stopping himself from spilling further details.

It’s the kind of offhand endorsement that carries serious weight — and ARMYs worldwide are rightfully losing their minds over it.

Why This Matters So Much

Ryan Tedder isn’t new to K-pop collaborations, but his level of excitement here is notably different. He’s the creative force behind some of the most iconic pop albums of the last two decades. When someone with his pedigree calls a project the craziest of his career, it signals something genuinely unprecedented is coming. Earlier, Diplo similarly hinted his work on ARIRANG would “shock the world.” Two top-tier producers, one album — the hype is building for a reason.
