Jun-seo and Jae-oh: Two Men, Opposite Choices

The newly released stills show both men wearing expressions of profound sorrow, but their reactions differ dramatically. Kim Jae-oh pulls the tearful Ah-jin into his arms with resolute determination, declaring in the preview that he’ll handle everything to save and protect her—suggesting he’s chosen unwavering loyalty despite her destructive nature.

Jun-seo’s journey appears more complex as he begins awakening to Ah-jin’s true manipulative tactics after discovering devastating truths about his biological father through his intoxicated mother’s confession.

Ah-jin’s Desperate Race Against Time

Images show Ah-jin standing by the swimming pool where Do-hyuk proposed, her hair drenched and eyes filled with tears. Another striking shot captures her in a glamorous dress—reminiscent of the series opening—but her hardened expression and midnight street race hint at desperation rather than triumph.

The production team confirmed the TV adaptation significantly deviates from Vanziun’s webtoon, omitting major plot points including the pregnancy storyline that originally drove the narrative’s conclusion. With co-writer Vanziun involved, the finale could deliver completely unexpected twists.

Will Season 2 Happen?

The creative team revealed Season 2 remains possible if fan enthusiasm proves strong enough. While no major character deaths occur in the finale, several relationships die permanently as truths emerge that cannot be undone.
