iOS 14.3 Beta update from Apple including Apple ProRAW, Home updates, Shortcuts, and more

Apple has finally released the first developer beta version of its iOS 14.3. This is the newest update as per the software of iPhones, and quite obviously, this update brings a series of updates to the iPhone users. Let’s checkout what are those.

ProRAW

First of all, let’s talk about the ProRAW feature. This is one of the most highlighted features of the iOS 14.3 update. This will definitely boost your photography skills. This feature offers you a great opportunity to shoot your photos in RAW format (also Smart HDR 3 and Deep Fusion supported). In this age, almost everyone knows what are the benefits of shooting in RAW. You can do a massive amount of post-processing on your image without degrading its quality and size. If you want to enable this feature, go to Settings > Camera > Formats and toggle on ProRAW. This ProRAW feature is already available on iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. After shooting any image in RAW format, a RAW indicator will show in the Photos app on the top-left corner.

Find My App

Next is the Find My app update. Your iPhone will be able to track new items by the Find My app. it might support some third-party device trackers with iOS 14.

iOS 14.3 comes with a wide range of HomeKit accessories updates. In this update, the Home app alerts its user and directs him/her to the manufacturer’s app. Apart from this, there is an alert that allows you to quickly update all accessories (similar to the HomePod updates).

Ecosia search engine

Regarding some of the other updates, in this iOS 14.3 users are more likely to have the Lock Screen and Home Screen wallpapers (it was previously removed by Apple). So, people can customize their Home Screen with new and exciting widgets. Also, a new welcome screen will be there for users to install and launching the App Store. For extras, this update is going to have support for the new Playstation 5 DualSense controller. Both the wired and wireless controller will work on this beta version. There is another search engine, named Ecosia which users are going to get in this update. As per Apple, it is an eco-friendly search engine, because the amount of profit that Apple earns from Ecosia, directly goes to plant trees. So, it is a good step by Apple to save our environment. A cardio fitness health app will also be there.

Samsung Galaxy M12 renders spotted, will arrive soon

South Korean tech giant Samsung is expected to launch another smartphone dubbed Samsung Galaxy M12. Recently, we have got some renders of this upcoming device which confirms the arrival of Galaxy M12.

The reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer has shared some images of this upcoming handset. The leaked renders of Galaxy M12 reveals some out features of this phone, like- camera module, shape, key position, and etc. So let’s check out all those features.

According to the renders, the Galaxy M12 will have a square shape module on the backside to hold the rear camera lenses alongside a flash. The back panel of this phone also has a dual texture design with a stripped upper section and a smooth glossy lower section, where the Samsung logo is also located. Looking at the back design, it can say that the backside of the upcoming M12 has a similarity with the Pixel 3 series.

Coming to the front section, the upcoming Galaxy M12 comes with a plastic unibody with a flat display. The display of this phone will also feature a teardrop notch to hold the front camera for selfies and video call purposes. In terms of dimension, the phone measures (163.9×75.9×8.9)mm.

The leaked images of this phone also reveals that the Galaxy M12 also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. There will be a USB Type-C charging port alongside the speaker grille and 3.5mm audio jack are also sit at the bottom edge of this phone.

On the base of the renders of Galaxy M12 we have got only this much information about the out feature of this upcoming device, there is no information regarding the internal specs of this phone(like- processor, battery capacity, camera lenses, and etc). It is expected that the company will reveal every detail of this phone soon.

Lewis Hamilton equals Schumacher’s record 7 F1 world championships

Schumacher backed him to break his record, and the English star has finally managed to prove the legend right. Lewis Hamilton won his seventh World Championship in the Turkish Grand Prix over the weekend. 

The Mercedes driver managed to win his first Championship over a decade ago, during his time with McLaren in 2008. He has since won the title in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2019.

After winning a hard-fought 94th race of his illustrious career, the 35-year-old expressed his passion, saying:

“To all the kids out there, dream the impossible.”

Once out of the car, he added: “Seven is just unimaginable but when you work with such a great group of people and you really trust each other, there is just no end to what you can do together.

“I feel like I’m only just getting started, it’s really weird.”

Despite his ambitious comments after managing to win his seventh World Championship, the Englishman is the single most successful F1 driver ever. 

The win did not come easy for Hamilton, and the weather conditions being wet and slippery, did him no favours either. 

Lance Stroll, on the other hand, had a nightmare finish to the race. The Canadian led for a ridiculous 36 laps for the first time in his career, but his luck ran out along with his tyres. 

Racing Point’s Sergio Perez came in second while Sebastian Vettel came in third place in the Turkish Grand Prix. 

Here is what Perez had to say on his runners-up finish:

“I told my team on the radio: ‘One more lap on those tyres, I think they will have exploded.’ The vibrations were really bad towards the end. But I think it also made our race. Looking after them towards the beginning and towards the end, with drying conditions, I think the team did a fantastic job with the strategy in the race.”

Meanwhile, Vettel said:

“It was quite intense but good fun. I had a really good opening lap, I found myself already in P4. It is a bit of a surprise to snatch the podium but I am certainly very happy.”

Amidst all the financial pressure that the La Liga is building on their teams, Real Madrid and Barcelona are probably the most harshly affected. This is due to them having some of the best players in the world on their books. 

A statement released by the League made it clear that a decision had been reached among all the parties involved:

‘Today, November 11, after several days of intense meetings, and the negotiation was exhausted, the parties have ended the consultation period, without reaching an agreement.’  

The decision, in fact, is that of extending the deadline on the wage reduction concerning most of the teams in La Liga. The Spanish clubs have until the 23rd of November to implement the recommended reductions. 

Barcelona are arguably the worst hit of the lot, with the Catalonian club needing to almost half their wage budget. Their wage cap previously stood at £600 million, but has now been reduced to only £342 million. 

Considering the utter chaos that has been ensuing behind the scenes at Camp Nou, a wage reduction is the only way to keep things working at the club. However, reaching an agreement will not be easy.

Barcelona’s rivals Real Madrid have been handed a better number, with their wage cap at £479 million from £574 million. 

Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, have had their wage cap reduced to £226 million from their previous limit of £344 million. 

Simeone hails Luis Suarez after superb debut

La Liga president Javier Tebas was very particular as to why the wage reduction was being made mandatory for the clubs in the division, saying:

“The clubs are exceeding 500 million euros. Some have to continue working to reduce the wage bill again. The most affected in Spain are Valencia, Barcelona, ​​Real Madrid.”

The pandemic has made it tough for clubs to survive, with losses being reported in millions with every passing matchday owing to the lack of ticket sales.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney set to take over Wrexham

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are set to become the new owners of fifth division club Wrexham. The Wrexham Supporters Trust voted for the takeover, with as many as 98.6% supporters in favour for the Hollywood stars to take over the football club. 

Wrexham have been playing in the National League, and have been deemed to have great potential by the Hollywood duo. Their claims go as far as to want to make the football club a “global force”.

While the takeover is yet to be officially approved by the FA and to be announced by the club themselves, the staggering response to the actor’s plans have made it clear of the way that things are going to turn out to be. 

“Subject to final agreement, league and FA confirmation – the RR McReynolds Company, LLC will take 100% control of Wrexham Football Club Limited from the WST.

“Both parties will now proceed with finalising the details of the takeover, and we will update Wrexham supporters as soon as we can.”

The Welsh club have been playing in the National League since their relegation from the Football League a decade ago. They have been a mid-table side ever since. 

With the takeover being all but approved, it is speculated that an investment of about £2 million would be pumped into the club, with a possibility for a Netflix documentary as well.

Huawei decides to sell its Honor subsidiary to keep the Smartphone unit alive

Huawei has officially announced on Tuesday to sell its subsidiary of Honor to the China-based, Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co Ltd. Founded in 2013, Honor was a part of the dual-brand strategy of the Huawei Consumer Business Group. Honor got the facilities of Huawei’s accumulated expertise in ICT fields.

Now the new owner of Honor is Zhixin New Information Technology Co. Ltd. This Chinese company was a subsidiary of Le.com. Later, Sunac China bought a part of its share and Huaxia Life Insurance was also an investor at that time.

According to a joint statement, the present owner of the Honor brand was built from a group of 30 agents and dealers of the Honor brand and Shenzhen Smart City Development Group Co. Ltd.

Shenzhen Smart City Development Group is a subsidiary of Shenzhen SASAC, which holds 98.6% of the shares and 1.4% of the share is of Shenzhen state-owned Assets Cooperative Development Private Equity Partnership.

In the statement, the company said that “Once the sale is complete, Huawei will not hold any shares or be involved in any business management or decision-making activities in the new Honor company.”

“Huawei’s consumer business has been under tremendous pressure as of late. This has been due to persistent unavailability of technical elements needed for our mobile phone business.” Added the company.

Recently in India, Huawei set foot in the laptop market, and it already has a nice portfolio of wearables in the country. Huawei said, “This move has been made by Honor’s industry chain to ensure its own survival.”

This decision from Huawei is taken to save the brand value. We can assume that the change in ownership will not affect Honor’s development and talent teams from the joint statement.
