IPL 2021: CSK to release some big names before the auction?

The IPL GC has announced its deadline for the franchises to submit their list for the retained players for the upcoming IPL 2021, which is 21st January, and if one of the IPL franchise needs to rebuild them strongly then that’s CSK as they had a horrible and disappointing season in the IPL 2020.

Thus, CSK is on its way to release some of their capped players on the basis of their performance last season and build a new, strong, and energetic team this year in the 14th edition of the IPL as it is their golden opportunity to build one.

Amid all these preparations for the 14th edition of IPL, it is highly expected that the three-time IPL winner, Chennai Super Kings might release some of their big names including Piyush Chawla and Kedar Jadhav on the basis of IPL 2020’s poor performance.

(PC- DNA india)

Interestingly, according to the rumours, the IPL giant Chennai Super Kings are going to release Kedar Jadhav and Piyush Chawla, who is being paid a huge amount but failed to deliver good performance this season. Unfortunately, both the players had a horrendous season in the 13th edition of the IPL. Especially Jadhav’s performance was below par which was not expected from him, who overall scored only 62 runs in eight games at a horrifying strike rate of 93.93, also he didn’t hit a single six in the tournament. Both of them had a disappointing season for CSK in the IPL 2020. It is also heard that their release process is in action too.

“Jadhav was not in best of form in IPL 2020. He was also struggling with his fitness. CSK will move on from Jadhav in IPL 2021, everyone in the team management feels that it will be prudent to take this hard call and invest in the future’, said the close source to the CSK management.

It is also likely that CSK might release Harbhajan Singh as he missed out on IPL 2020 due to some personal reasons and even he is not playing domestic cricket nor he is active with the Indian Team. Thus, he is left with no stage to show his skills, he is also paid a whopping amount of INR 2 Crore by the franchise. But on the other hand, Suresh Raina who also missed the IPL 2020 due to personal problems is staying at CSK and the franchise has cleared all the rumours about it as well.

Another good news is that even in the IPL 2021, M.S Dhoni is going to lead the team as he announced it himself during the toss while their last game at the IPL 2020 against Kings XI Punjab. Also, the franchise has cleared that Dhoni will be staying with them and leading the team.

Another problem which is seen by CSK ahead of the mini-auction is that they are left with an amount of only INR 15 lakhs in the purse and a lot is depending on it and the release of the players.

All the eyes are now on the franchises ahead of the jam-packed but mini-auction for the IPL 14, which players are retained by their team and which players are going to get released.

Concussion substitution to be trialled in FIFA Club World Cup next month

0

Last month football’s lawmaking body IFAB announced one of the revolutionary ideas to protect the players. IFAB announced that the concussion substitutions are to be trialled from January.

However, it seems that it will finally be trialled in February. FIFA is considering starting the trial in FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar next month which will be played from February 1-11. Though Premier League is also considering introducing this later this month. FIFA is also considering to trial this in this year’s Olympics game.

The head injury concerns have increased after there were multiple issues that happened in the last few weeks in Europe’s Elite leagues. Recently in the Premier League, Arsenal defender David Luiz continued to play with a fractured skull until half-time after a clash of heads with Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Jose Maria Gimenez.

This rule will protect the players more. A team can substitute a player regardless of the number of substitutions a team has already made.

FIFA said, “Teams participating in the Club World Cup are also permitted to make up to five substitutions per game rather than three.”

However, the teams will only have 3 opportunities to make the substitution and in the half time.

European champions Bayern Munich and Qatari side Al-Duhail are the two qualified teams in the FIFA World Cup. FC Bayern Munich has qualified as the European champions and Al-Duhail has qualified as the host. All the other side is yet to be decided.

AMD Ryzen 7 5700G spotted again, faster than Ryzen 7 3700X

Having spotted a lot of Cezanne APUs earlier we know that AMD will be launching them both for mobile and desktop at CES 2021. A few days ago Ryzen 7 5700G was spotted on USB-IF site confirming its presence.

Now, to take this even further the Zen 3 based APU has been tested and seen mentioned on the Chinese social media platform. It is codenamed as 100-000000263, featuring 8 cores and 16 threads along with 4.4 GHz boost clock speeds.

AMD Ryzen 7 5700G spotted again, faster than Ryzen 7 3700X

It is indeed a 7nm based Zen 3 chip and the leaker says it might be either Ryzen 7 5700G or 5750G. Although not tested on any traditional benchmark software, but the leaker somehow managed to get the CPU-Z benchmark of the APU.

AMD Ryzen 7 5700G spotted again, faster than Ryzen 7 3700X

It scored a handsome 613.6 points in single-threaded benchmark and 6292.2 points in multi-threaded tests. Compared to the predecessor Zen 2 CPU, the Ryzen 7 3700X, the upcoming APU is much faster than you could have expected.

It seems the Zen 3 based APU is 20% and 16% faster respectively even though it goes up to 4.4 GHz only, thanks to the architectural improvement of Zen 3. As per the leaker, the flagship APU will cost just 1888 Yuans (or 296 USD) when bought in bulk.

The good thing about any Ryzen CPU or APU is that they are overclockable and so is this one, up to 4.7GHz. So, when overclocked, it scores 647.4 points in single-threaded benchmark and a whopping 6960 points in multi-core tests, pretty impressive figures I would say.

A point to note is that all the damages which are present in the picture are not because of the explosion alone. When the device caught fire, the user threw it on the floor and stamped on it. Thus, we believe a few of the damages can be due to that reason as well. Though the reason for this explosion is unknown, we can say that there might have been a hardware issue.

India restricted Internet Access the most comparing to any other country in the World in 2020

0

2020 is gone and now we’re in 2021, but for various types of reasons, 2020 still haunts people all over the globe. The COVID-19 pandemic, lockdown, quarantine, and many other unknown things have been a part of our lives throughout 2020. For the pandemic situation, most of the countries in the world have been in a lockdown state and for this, there was only one hope for people to get indoors and live their lives, the thing is none other than the internet. Internet surfing, watching videos, playing online games, and later on, work from home, all those things have worked as the blessing of the internet in that lockdown state. But according to a recent report, amongst 20 other countries in the world, India is the only one who experienced the most number of internet shutdowns due to Government restrictions. These massive restrictions had lead to suffer a massive loss of almost $2.8 billion for this country.

The recent report states that the amount of money, the number of losses suffered by India due to all these internet restrictions were more than double the combined amount of the next 20 countries on the list. The shutdowns were not only for the pandemic crisis but also mainly for the political issue and tensions with our neighbors such as China and Pakistan. The reports said that the Indian Government had restricted access to the internet more than 75 times throughout 2020. These numbers are definitely the most in all aspects if compared to other countries.

How Badly Internet Service Providers Offer Services In India

The report reads, “The majority of these short blackouts were highly targeted, affecting groups of villages or individual city districts, and so were not included in this report, which focuses on larger region-wide shutdown.”

As per some recent researches, things got worse in Jammu and Kashmir as internet access was restricted there for several months and the Indian Government provides only 2G services to the citizens. This crisis is termed as “the longest Internet shutdown in a democracy.”

IPL 2021: The amount of money left in the purse of each IPL franchise

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released its guidelines for the auctions of the Indian Premier League 2021 (IPL). The IPL GC has also asked the franchises to submit their list for the retained players by January 21st and has revealed the amount left in the team purse.

Also, the auction is likely to take place in the mid-February after the finals of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy which will take play on 31st January, so that the franchises can scout young talents from the domestic cricket.

Since the BCCI after their AGM on 24th December has approved the idea of including two new teams in the IPL from 2022, so instead of the mega-auction this edition, a mini-auction will be organized ahead of IPL 2021.

iplv1 889782 1604868437 IPL 2021: The amount of money left in the purse of each IPL franchise

Also, the IPL GC has announced that trading window will close on February 4 for the franchises while the authorities are likely to host the auction for the 14th edition on February 11 2021, according to the reports.

The players had signed a 3-year contract with the franchises in 2018, which already ended in 2020. Thus, before mini-auction, BCCI and franchises will have complete all contractual formalities with those players whom teams would like to retain and also those the teams want to release for the upcoming IPL 2021 season.

The teams can retain three players and can have two more players back using the  Right To March (RTM) card. The purse money must not exceed and the franchises will have to do the task with a total of INR 85 crore money only. Thus the purse left for the mini-auction will be dependent on how much money the teams are left with after deciding on the retained players.

The three-time title winners Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are left with an INR 15 lakh. It is also rumoured that the franchise might release a few capped players as they have to build a strong squad from the scratch after the disaster in IPL 2020.

The defending champions Mumbai Indians have a less amount under their belt with INR 1.95 crore, but they might not disturb with the winning playing XI combination.

Also, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has only INR 6.4 crores with them, while two-times champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have a purse of about INR 8.5 crore. The Delhi Capitals (DC) also have INR 9 crores but they also seem not to disturb their young and energetic playing XI and the Sunrisers Hyderabad also boasts of having INR 10.1 crores.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) have INR 14.75 crore purse left while Kings XI Punjab are left with INR 16.5 crore.
