Realme 8 Pro vs Redmi Note 10 Pro Max: The Answer is here!

Realme 8 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max are two smartphones launched recently. These are the handsets that are not much expensive and offer cool features to the users. But if one has to be picked, which device has to be preferred? Let’s find out here

Display

In terms of the display, Realme 8 Pro flaunts a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and has a screen resolution of 1,080Ɨ2,400 pixels. On the other hand, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max offers a bigger 6.67-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1,080Ɨ2,400 pixels. The former has a refresh rate of 60 Hz whereas the latter has a higher refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Processor

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G (octa-core). While Realme 8 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC. In terms of performance, 732G just edge out 720G.

Camera

Realme 8 Pro features a quad-camera setup at the rear side which includes a 108MP Samsung HM2 primary sensor, an 8MP camera sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP B&W lens. Redmi Note 10 Pro Max will provide you similar quad-camera setup at the back with a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP super-macro sensor, and a 2MP depth camera lens. Both smartphones have a selfie camera lens of 16 MP at the front.

Battery and Fast Charging

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max packs a 5020mAH battery cell and is paired with a 33W of fast charging support which is much better than Realme 8 Pro which draws energy from a smaller 4,500mAh battery cell which is paired with 50W fast-charging support.

Price

Realme 8 Pro comes in two variants with different prices:

  • 6GB + 128GB = Rs 17,999
  • 8GB + 128GB = Rs 19,999

Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is offered in three variants which are:

  • 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage: Rs. 18,999
  • 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage: Rs. 19,999
  • 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage: Rs. 21,999

Our Thoughts

It can be seen that in every aspect except prices Redmi Note 10 Pro Max pips Realme 8 Pro. In some domains, the battle is quite intense and in some Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is a clear winner. Talking about the display, Redmi offers a larger screen with a double refresh rate when compared to Realme’s device. The battery cell of the former is much powerful than that of the former’s. The fight in terms of optics is quite close but Redmi Note 10 Pro Max’s super macro sensor just edge out Realme 8 Pro. Though Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is Rs 2000 more expensive than Realme 8 Pro, the features offered do excite me to bend towards it.

Xavi wants to see Joachim Low as the next FC Barcelona manager

Former FC Barcelona midfielder Xavi thinks German boss Joachim Low is the perfect man for FC Barcelona’s hot-seat.

In a recent interview with the German newspaperĀ Sueddeutsche Zeitung, he said, “Lƶw is made to train Barcelona because of his way of understanding the game and his personality.”

“Lƶw did his bit for Germany to develop a different way of understanding football that reminded me of the one I knew in the National Team and in Barcelona.”- he added.

“It is normal that there is some wear after such a long period.”

It is a strange claim from the side of Xavi Hernandez. Xavi himself is linked with a return to the Catalan Side to take charge of FC Barcelona. Xavi was set to become FC Barcelona manager to replaceĀ Ernesto ValverdeĀ before Ronald Koeman arrived in 2019.

However, the former Spanish midfielder is currently managing Qatari club Al-Sadd. He is not prioritising an immediate return to Catalonia currently.

On the other hand, Ronald Koeman is having a tough time in FC Barcelona. If the Catalans failed to win without silverware, Koeman can be sacked immediately. In that case, Xavi can be a perfect replacement. But after his recent interview, FC Barcelona can think otherwise.

Joachim Low is highly successful as the manager of the German National Team. Germany has won the FIFA World Cup 2014 by beating Lionel Messi Argentina in the final. It will be interesting to see him as the boss of FC Barcelona.

FIFA 21: How to do the 88-rated Rodrigo Palacio FUT Birthday SBC card and is it worth doing?

0

The FUT Birthday promo is live in FIFA 21 since 26th March. It is one of the most anticipated promos, but Team 1 hasn’t been good enough, and fans are expecting more from Team 2, which will be released next week.

FIFA 21 has now introduced Rodrigo Palacio’s FUT Birthday SBC. The Argentine international currently plays for Serie A side Bologna, so it will be pretty easy to connect him with other players.

The Rodrigo Palacio FUT Birthday SBC requires 2 SBCs.

SBC Requirements

Solution SBC for Serie A TIM

SBC 1: Serie A TIM

  • Minimum 1 player from Series A TIM
  • Minimum Team Rating of 83
  • Minimum Team Chemistry of 70

Reward: One Premium Electrum Players Pack

Solution SBC for Argentina

SBC 2: Argentina

  • Minimum 1 player from Argentina
  • Minimum 1 player from Team of the Week (TOTW)
  • Minimum Team Rating of 85
  • Minimum Team Chemistry of 60

Reward: One Premium Gold Players Pack

SBC Expected cost: Around 200k FIFA coins
SBC Expiry date:Ā 02/04/21

Is the card worth doing?

Rodrigo Palacio’s FUT Birthday card comes around 200k FIFA coins as it requires 83 and 85-rated squads, which is quite cheap considering the other SBCs coming out in FIFA 21.

Getting a Rodrigo Palacio card from such a decent SBC is an absolute win, and on top of that, he has great stats. Let’s get into it in details.

Rodrigo Palacio has a high attacking and defensive work rate which is the best in-game. He also has a 5* skill move which would be awesome while taking on your opponents. The only downside is the 3* weak foot, but it is manageable. So this card is an absolute beast considering the work rate and the skill move.

Now coming into the in-depth stats of the card. The two things which stand out in the card is his pace and dribbling. He has 93 pace along with 95 dribbling to assist his 5* skill move. His shooting is also pretty decent with excellent attacking position and finishing.

Being a striker, he wouldn’t be required to deliver pinpoint passes as he will usually be at the end of the passing move to convert it into a goal. He also has a leadership trait along with a finesse shot, which will be very helpful in bending the ball into the net. I have put a hunter chemistry style on him to improve his shooting and make his pace more deadly.

As Rodrigo Palacio is from Argentina and plays for Serie A side Bologna, it was pretty easy for me to fit him into my team. He gets a green link from Dybala and a yellow link from Cristiano Ronaldo, and my front three are well-connected.

I would suggest you all to do this card as this is an absolute beast. With a 5* skill move and 95 dribbling, he can dribble past almost everybody. Along with that his 93 pace would allow him to glide past any defender. Everything in this card is excellent except the 3* weak foot, but that won’t be a big issue.

Cristiano Ronaldo throws the captain armband and walks off after his late winner for Portugal was denied

0

Portugal faced Serbia in the World Cup qualifiers on Saturday. Diogo Jota put Portugal into a 2-0 lead but Serbia fought back through goals from Aleksandar Mitrovic and Filip Kostic.

But the most arguable moment of the match came in injury time. Cristiano Ronaldo managed to send the ball towards the goal from a lobbed trough ball. Stefan Mitrovic somehow managed to clear the ball after it crossed the line.

Everybody thought that Ronaldo has once again scored a late winner for Portugal but the assistant referee didn’t agree to the claims of the ball going inside the goal and it didn’t stand and the match ended in a 2-2 draw.

Cristiano Ronaldo was furious after this incident, and he threw the captain armband in frustration and walked off the pitch towards the dressing room before the final whistle was blown.

Cristiano Ronaldo said after the match: ā€œBeing captain of the Portugal team is one of the greatest privileges of my life and fills me with pride.”

ā€œI always give and will give everything for my country, that will never change. But there are difficult times to deal with, especially when we feel that an entire nation is being harmed.ā€

ā€œLift your head and face the next challenge now. Come on, Portugal.ā€

Portugal coach Fernando Santos was also frustrated by the incident and insisted that technology should be introduced for these games as well. He said: ā€œI’ve been told he [Ronaldo] did not react well. It is the normal frustration of those who score Portugal’s winning goal that did not count.ā€

Portugal will face Luxembourg on Tuesday. Ronaldo and co will definitely hope to get back to winning ways.

Manchester United is one of the greatest clubs in the world in terms of player development. There are so many talented youngsters in the Manchester United squad who can be a star in the future.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X review: The absolute champion!

0

AMD launched their Ryzen 5000 series processors last year based on their revolutionary Zen 3 architecture that brought significant IPC gains over the much-loved Zen 2 architecture from 2019. The redesigned cache, new core layout and a lot of new improvements has helped AMD to beat Intel or get close to them in single-core performance.

With AMD ā€œZen 3ā€ core architecture, AMD has achieved extensive improvements throughout the core including a unified 8-core complex with direct access to 32MB L3 cache. Zen 3 delivers 19% generational increase in instructions per cycle (IPC), the largest since the introduction of the original ā€œZenā€ processors back in 2017.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X review: The absolute champion!

These new processors provide up to 16 cores, 32 threads, and 72 MB of cache with their top-of-the-line AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, a successor to last-gen Ryzen 9 3950X. So, having already reviewed the Ryzen 7 5800X and the Ryzen 5 5600X, we now have the beast – the Ryzen 9 5950X with all its 16 cores and 32 threads for testing!

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X review: The absolute champion!

Cinebench R15

The AMD Ryzen 9 5950X scores a humongous 4080 points in the most loved Cinebench R15 benchmark, making it the fastest CPU out there.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X review: The absolute champion!

Cinebench R20

When Dr. Lisa showed the Cinebench R20 results on-stage during the Ryzen 5000 series launch, we were blown away by the performance, and indeed it is so when it powers your system. The top-of-the-line AMD Ryzen 9 5950X just breaks all records with all its 16 cores and 32 threads.

In single-core, the Ryzen 9 5950X scores a record-breaking 624 points, whereas in multi-core, you get a massive score of 9347 points. Obviously, you have no competition at that level, and it’s the absolute best for productivity and high-performance computing.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X review: The absolute champion!

Cinebench R23

The Ryzen 9 5950X has scored an out-of-the-world 23,992 points in multi-core whereas scoring as much as 1560 points in single-core. This kind of single-core score was never seen before, and it already beats out the Tiger Lake Core i7-1165G7 in single-core.

When it comes to multi-core, you actually have no competition as this 16-core monster beats anything in the lineup including last-gen Threadrippers, Intel Xeons and much more, basically, its the fastest 16-core monster from AMD!

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X review: The absolute champion!

Geekbench 5

While in Geekbench 5, the Ryzen 9 5950X tears apart any x86 desktop CPU out there, scoring 1669 points in single-core and 13,111 points in multi-threaded tests.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X review: The absolute champion!

This is the kind of performance you can expect from a 16-core monster; however, it performs similar to the Ryzen 9 3950X in multi-core with slight improvement; however, the main improvement you notice is in the single-core performance.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X review: The absolute champion!

CPU-Z

In the CPU-Z benchmark also the Ryzen 9 5950X dominates every other CPU in the stack, and it manages to score 676.9 points in single-core as well as scoring 11756.9 points in multi-threaded tests.

This makes the new 16-core Ryzen 9 5950X almost 27% faster than last-gen Ryzen 9 3950X in single-core while there’s a minor 8% increase in multi-core performance. So, if you are looking for multi-threaded performance only then you can buy the last-gen Ryzen 9 3950X which still holds pretty good value if you can get it at a discounted price.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X review: The absolute champion!

PCMark 10

When paired with the flagship Radeon RX 6900 XT, the Ryzen 9 5950X just blows away all the records. This killer combo manages to grab the PCMark 10 score of 8,406 points while managing a Productivity score of 9,481 points and a phenomenal score of 15,884 points in Digital Content Creation.

So, if you are someone looking to build a high-performance PC, the Ryzen 9 5950X is the ultimate choice we can recommend you.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X review: The absolute champion!

SiSoftware Sandra

Irrespective of the benchmark, the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X is the champion in all aspects and so in SiSoftware Sandra’s CPU test also this monster chip performs the best.

It managed to score 121.530GB/s aggregated multi-core score and its one of the highest score we’ve ever seen, whereas in terms of overall processor score, the Ryzen 9 5950X gets 10.34kPT points.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X review: The absolute champion!

3DMark Fire Strike Ultra

The sheer performance of this beast continues even in our final benchmark as well. In 3DMark’s Fire Strike Ultra test, the Ryzen 9 5950X managed to score an impressive 37,463 points.

So, it’s undoubtedly, the fastest in the market, and with the new improvements in single-core performance, you can expect a great gaming experience as well as good performance in single-core dependent applications like Photoshop.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X review: The absolute champion!

Gaming benchmarks

Previously, gaming wasn’t a strong point for AMD, but things have changed within a year, now with Zen 3 architecture, you can expect top-of-the-line performance from a monster like Ryzen 9 5950X. Obviously, it’s a flagship CPU focussed on productivity but that doesn’t mean you cannot game on it.

Here is a brief gaming benchmark of the Ryzen 9 5950X along with the Radeon RX 6900 XT:

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X review: The absolute champion!

In all of the modern titles, you see 4K 60 FPS at the highest settings possible, while in eSports titles, you get high frames per second. We will soon bring a detailed article on the Ryzen 9 5950X and Radeon RX 6900 XT combo in which you see detailed gaming and productivity benchmarks.

As of now, from these number, you get an idea that this is a strong CPU for gaming as well and if any application can use the 32 threads of this processor can easily give you the best performance you can ask for.

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X review: The absolute champion!

Verdict

The AMD Ryzen 9 5950X is a beast that costs a lot and hard to find as well, so the question lies whether you should buy it or not. Well, if you are someone who doesn’t care about price and just needs those damn 16 Zen 3 cores, then you should definitely buy the 5950X; however, the availability of the processor is a matter of concern.

So, if you require only the multi-core performance, the last-gen Ryzen 9 3950X also holds a pretty good value if you get it at a discounted price. But overall, the new AMD Ryzen 9 5950X is the best you can opt for currently, be it productivity or gaming; this is an absolute monster!
