So, Guys Wait Is Over!!!Samsung Brings Their Infinity Display Phone A8+ To India
Weeks after the official announcement of the phone Samsung has brought their A8+ to India. The phone has been listed with a “coming soon” tag at Amazon India. The exact date and price of the smartphone are still not known, but someday in this January, it will be available that’s for sure. The smartphone is already available in Vietnam from January 6 with a price tag of VND 13,490,000 (approximately Rs.38,040). Samsung will also launch theย Galaxy A8 (2018), which is the smaller variant of the Galaxy A8 (2018). In the Vietnamese market, it is available at VND 10,990,000 (roughly Rs. 30,980).
Amazon Indiaย has developed a special microsite for the Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) thatย highlights some of its key features. Separately, IANS cites industry sources to claim the smartphone will be launched on January 10.ย ย IANS also claims that the Galaxy A8 (2018) will not be launched in the country, but only the A8+ (2018) model.

Thus the total for the CPU costs around Rs.34,000 which is quite good if you need a good gaming PC. If you do not have such budget AMD processors might help you to reduce the price.
A small suggestion: Use this SSD if you have Rs3k more and boost your PC with unbelievable speed:

From Intel to AMD, Here are the Processors that You May Buy in 2018
After the successful year 2017, AMD and Intel are competing for head to head to make processors faster and faster. Both Ryzen and Coffee Lake processors were a huge success for both of them. In 2018,ย ย AMD and Intel are at each other’sโ throats, competing for your purchase. Rumors have arrived that AMD is set to launch the second series of Ryzen processors early 2018.
On the other hand, Intelโs Kaby Lake-X and Skylake-X were launched in June. Intel with Skylake-X offered faster performance and higher core counts for the same price than Intel had previously shipped.
AMDโs Threadripper debuted in August with 16 cores at the same price as a 10-core Intel CPU.ย Intelโs 18-core Skylake-Xย Core i9-7980XEย retook the performance crown in September 2017.
The Ryzen 2 lineup, according toย WCCTech, will comprise of the Ryzen 7, Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 3 2000 chips. They are expected to have better performance with jacked-up clock speeds and overclocking capabilities. The Ryzen 2 family will feature AMD’s Zen+ CPU architecture, which is set to offer more power efficiency.
Ryzen 2 family will be the first chips by AMD, that will have built using the 12nm fabrication processes. They tend to pack in more transistors into small squares of silicone. With up to eight cores and clock speeds reckoned to hit up to 4.4GHz. Samsung’s upcoming Chromebook with Intel 7th-gen SoC, powerful Sony IMX258 Camera sensor
NEW DELHI: Samsung in the last month rumoured to be working on a first-ever detachableย Chromebook. According to some codes founded by certain websites, the upcomingย Samsung Chromebookย is being referred to as ‘Nautilus’.
The device is once again said to support Intel 7th-gen processor, which means it will be one of the most powerful Chromebooks around upon its launch. ‘Nautilus’ย could also have its high-end camera as one of the selling
points. According to the website, the Chromebook may feature a camera with Sony IMX258 sensor. This is the same sensor that is used in the LG G6, the South Korean tech giant flagship smartphone of last year.
The new notebook comes with a built out of a magnesium-aluminum alloy the companyโs deemed โMetal12โ, thatโs lighter than just aluminium and should bring a more premium feel than past plastic like laptop builds. They all are going to be equipped with a 1920 x 1280 displays and Intel HD graphics.
The 15-inch can be upgraded to NVIDIA GeForce MX150. The systems also feature Windows Hello log-in through a fingerprint sensor and port the secure Privacy Folder feature from the companyโs mobile offerings.
Although there are no other details available for the upcoming device, previous reports point towards a Galaxy Book-like detachable design. We may see something coming from Samsung in next few days during CES 2018
conference.
Samsung is not new to Google’s Chromebook series as the company already has made a few Chromebooks. Only time will tell what the South Korean tech firm has in store for the market.
The design of Google’s recently-launched PixelBook is also on the similar lines though. The search giant took the wraps off its PixelBook in late October last year. The hybrid laptop is priced at $999 for the Intel Core i5

Some of the key features of the device are the 12.3-inch screen with QHD resolution, up to 16GB RAM and 512GB inbuilt SSD storage, Google Assistant, Chrome OS and battery up to 10 hours.
The Notebook 9 pen, meanwhile, has a 360-degree hinge and a Samsung S Pen stylus and detachable keyboard. This time out, it also adds a front-facing IR camera for log-in via facial recognition.
Samsung Gear Sport: The smartwatch for all times !!!!
For the last few years, we are hearing that this will finally be the year whenย the wearableย is going to be mainstream. Yet, they seem to be restricted to fitness trackers and have gradually moved on to smartwatches. The biggies – Apple andย Samsungย – have staked their claim to supremacy in the segment whereas contenders like Xiaomi and Huawei are also making a strong push in there smartwatches.
Still, these haven’t really become a mainstream as they are still being bought by people to make a style statement or those who are extremely fitness conscious. The good old analog and digital watches still reign supreme and don’t look being usurped by their smart cousins.
Samsung with a Gear range of wearables has been looking to crack theย smartwatch category and we got one of its latest devices – the Gear Sport for a few days. We used the device for a few days and here’s our review of the
Samsung Gear Sport:
Design and display:
Theย new Samsung Gear Sports comes with two color design Black and Blue. It is having a 1.2โ 360 x 360 Super AMOLED Full-color AOD, Gorilla Glass 3. On the right side, there are two buttons — the top button can be used to go back whereas the other one is the Menu button. Dimensions: 42.9 x 44.6 x 11.6mm.
Weight: 67g (with strap) / 50g (without strap).
The bottom of the device is made of plastic. The straps that come out of the box are made of rubber and there’s another pair which is inside the box. It’s comfortable to wear and won’t look odd in the gym or in an office boardroom.
The circular bezel which can be twisted to browse through the interface is a neat feature.
Samsung’s Gear Sports smartwatch runs Tizen OS 3.0 and has 4GB of internal storage onboard. As expected, there’s GPS for tracking workouts and an optical heart rate sensor which monitors heart rate throughout the day. The other features on board include an altimeter, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 and full Wi-Fi connectivity. The Gear Sport is also a waterproof watch (50m) and one can use it while swimming as well.
The watch comes with wireless charging capabilities. Before we get into the performance, some more specifications: the Gear Sport has 1GHz dual-core CPU and 768MB of RAM. There’s 300mAH battery on board as well. It’s a great gadget for hardcore fitness enthusiasts as Gear Sport tracks down everything you do. Unlike some other smartwatches, the Gear Sport doesn’t suffer from any stutters or lags. A flick of the wrist to look at the time and all
relevant information immediately pops up.
It’s a simple to use the watch and as we mentioned with a twist of the bezel you can monitor everything. The Tizen interface does grow on you and has widgets which display all the information. The touchscreen on Gear Sport works smoothly and you can sync it with Samsung Health app on any smartphone. The watch works fine with third-party fitness apps like Runkeeper- though you can’t install it on the watch.
The sleep tracker on the Gear Sport works seamlessly and does a fine job of tracking sleep patterns. The notifications on the watch work seamlessly and the bezel is your best friend on this watch. Connecting the smartphone is easy and one can respond to text or WhatsApp messages directly through the watch.
The battery, however, is a bit of a letdown as the Gear Sport drains out quite quickly. Also, it takes a lot of time to get fully charged. Even with moderate usage, the watch didn’t last more than a one-and-a-half day – which we feel for a smartphone is slightly underwhelming.
Verdict:
Is the Gear Sport worth $ 360? It depends actually whether you are someone who loves smartwatches. If a smartwatch is a gadget that appeals to you, then the Gear Sport is a solid yet unspectacular watch. The waterproof feature is a nifty add-on and most fitness enthusiasts won’t really have anything to complain about the Gear Sport.
An area which could’ve been better is the battery as it drains out rather quickly. As a fitness tracker, the Gear Sport is
undoubtedly one of the finest we have come across. But perhaps the price is a bit steep. Still, its a nascent category on the whole and difficult to win over customers. Samsung Gear Sport will attract a lot of attention from those who
really love their smartwatches.

iOS 11

Windows 10 S
Windows 10 S is a fully-fledged version of Windows 10 designed for low-cost computers as well as education-oriented PCs and even some premium computers, such as the newย Microsoft Surface Laptop.
According to Microsoft, the โSโ doesnโt stand for anything in particular, but the company says Windows 10 S is streamlined for simplicity, security, and speed. Windows 10 S will boot 15 seconds faster than a comparable machine runningย Windows 10ย Pro with the same profile and apps installed, and it will run as fast on day 1,000 as it does on day one, Microsoft says.

It will also receive the same updates at the same time as other versions of Windows 10.

Android 8.0 “Oreo”ย is a version of theย Androidย mobile operating system. It was first released as anย alpha qualityย developer preview in March 2017 and released to the public on August 21, 2017.
It contains a number of major features, including notification grouping,ย picture-in-pictureย support for video, performance improvements and battery usage optimization, and support forย auto-fillers,ย Bluetooth 5, system-level integration withย VoIPย apps, wideย color gamuts, andย Wi-Fi Aware. Android Oreo also introduces two major platform features, including Android Goโa software distribution of the operating system for low-end devices, as well as support for implementing aย hardware abstraction layer.

Sony Xperia XZ Premium
Theย Sony Xperia XZ Premiumย is anย Androidย smartphone manufactured and marketed byย Sony.ย Part of the Xperia X series, the device was announced to the public along with theย Xperia XZsย at the annualย Mobile World Congressย in February 2017.
The device’s highlight features are aย 4Kย HDRย ultra high-resolutionย display.ย Known internally asย Sony IMX400, the new sensor features a RAM chip sandwiched in between the sensor and control circuitry layers, serving as a large and fast buffer to where the camera can temporarily offload photos or videos without waiting to store the captured data in the internal phone storage.ย This enables the camera to record super slow-motion videos at 960ย fps, at a steady 720p resolution. Recording at super slow motion is limited to 0.18 seconds per buffer, due to limitations.

Samsung Galaxy S8
Theย Samsung Galaxy S8,ย Samsung Galaxy S8+ย (shortened toย S8ย andย S8+, respectively) andย Samsung Galaxy S8 Activeย areย Androidย smartphonesย produced byย Samsung Electronicsย as part of theย Samsung Galaxy S series. The S8 and S8+ were unveiled on 29 March 2017 and directly succeed theย Samsung Galaxy S7ย and S7 Edge, with a North American release on 21 April 2017 and international rollout throughout April and May.
Both S8 and S8+ contain upgraded hardware and major design changes over the S7 line, including larger screens with a tallerย aspect ratioย and curved sides on both the smaller and larger models,ย irisย andย face recognition, a new suite ofย virtual assistantย features known asย Bixbyย (along with a new dedicated physical button for launching the assistant), and aย docking stationย accessory that allows the phones to be used with aย personal phone-styledย desktop interfaceย with keyboard and mouse input support. The S8 Active features tougher materials designed for protection against shock, shatter, water and dust, with a metal frame and a rugged, tough texture for improved grip. iPhone Xย is aย smartphoneย designed, developed, and marketed byย Apple Inc.ย It was announced on September 12, 2017. The phone was released on November 3, 2017.
The iPhone X is intended to showcase what Apple thinks is technology of the future, specifically adoptingย OLEDย screen technology for the first time in iPhone history, as well as using a glass and stainless-steel form factor, offeringย wireless charging, and removing the home button in favor of introducing Face ID, a new authentication method using advanced technologies toย scan the user’s faceย to unlock the device, as well as for the use of animated emojis called Animoji. The new, nearly bezel-less form factor marks a significant change to the iPhone user interaction, involving swipe-based gestures to navigate around the operating system rather than the typical home button used in every previous iteration of the iPhone lineup.

Pixel 2ย andย Pixel 2 XLย areย Androidย smartphonesย designed, developed and marketed byย Google. They were announced during a Google event on October 4, 2017, as the successors to theย Pixel and Pixel XL. They were released on October 19, 2017, and serve as the second set of smartphones in theย Google Pixelย hardware line.
The Pixel 2 sports a 5-inch (130ย mm)ย AMOLEDย display panel with 1920ร1080ย resolution, coming in at around 441 PPI, while the Pixel 2 XL comes with a 6-inch (150ย mm)ย P-OLEDย display panel with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a 2880ร1440ย resolution at 538ย PPI.
Both phones have a 12.2-megapixelย rear camera capable of recordingย 4Kย video at 30ย FPS,ย 1080pย video at 120ย FPS, andย 720pย video at 240ย FPS. The camera also contains phase-detection autofocus, laser autofocus, and HDR+ processing. Pixel 2 owners receive free unlimited storage for all photos and videos taken on the phone in original quality through the end of 2020, with unlimited high-quality storage continuing afterward. The Pixel 2 camera received a score of 98 fromย DxOMark, making it the highest performing mobile device camera that they have tested.
The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL also includes theย Intel-designed Pixel Visual Coreย image processorย for faster and lower powerย image processing,ย though it is not expected to be enabled until Android 8.1 is released.ย The camera does not allow capturingย Rawย images and lacks manual controls. Unlikeย Apple’sย iPhone 8ย andย iPhone X, the Pixels do not have support for 4K video at 60 FPS, as the processor is not powerful enough. Although the camera hasย Optical Image Stabilizationย it is unable to remove some high-frequency vibrations that other smartphones are able to remove.
