0

Every day we’re getting different information regarding the Realme X7 series in India. Madhav Sheth is testing our patience in a serious manner. Now, we’ve got a leak in terms of the launch date of this series, saying that the X7 series could arrive in India on February 4. Though, the company has not officially confirmed the launch date. The whole thing has started with a tweet of a well-known tech blogger in the country. He has tweeted an image in which we can see the launch date of the X7 series, 4th February. However, he took down the post immediately before making it viral. But, another tipster quickly downloaded and shared it on his handle.

From the re-shared tweet, we can take a close look at that image, showing that the Realme X7 and the X7 Pro are going to officially launch in India on February 4, 2021. So, as of now, we can’t confirm it 100%. But, there is a 99% chance that this report is true and we’re going to witness the launch of the Realme X7 series on February 4, 2021. As of now, we can just take it as a pinch of salt.

Going through all these discussions, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has tweeted an image of the upcoming Realme X7, showing the rear panel of the device which looks like the Realme V15 that has been launched in China. So, there is another thing that is popping up in this discussion. The matter is that The X7 series of Realme that is going to launch in India doesn’t seem to be the one that was launched in China. To be more precise, China’s Realme V15 is expected to arrive as the X7 series in India. A lot of confusion is there, probably be unfolded on 4th February.

ASUS TUF Dash F15 with Core i7-11375H spotted on Geekbench

0

At CES this year, Asus did announce an ultra-portable gaming laptop powered by Intel’s Tiger Lake-H processors, and it makes sense as it’s a go-to gaming laptop up to 16.6 hours of video playback. A thin and lightweight as it is, it packs a Core i7-11375H, and GeForce RTX 3070 laptop GPU should give a handsome gaming experience.

Thanks to Intel’s single-core improvement, though stuck with 4 cores, the cores have high clock speeds of 3.3 GHz base and up to a whopping 5.0 GHz. The best part is that due to the new 10nm SuperFin transistors, the processor draws only 35 W of power, helping Asus make the laptop light.

But does it affect the performance? Well, we have a first Geekbench score of this upcoming laptop; thanks to @TUM_APISAK, the new ASUS TUF Dash F15 with Core i7-11375H puts up some healthy number although it’s limited to 4 cores only.

The Core i7-11375H puts up a single-core score of 1577 points and is pretty good, whereas, in multi-core, the CPU manages to score a respectable 5159 points. Well, for a thin and light gaming laptop, the score is good enough; what really matters to get more FPS is the GPU.

So, the TUF Gaming Dash F15 gaming laptop could be a lucrative option for a lot of gamers who give more importance to overall gaming performance along with portability.

WNBA spokesperson says that Atlanta Dream is close to being sold

0

In recent months, Kelly Loeffler’s ownership of the Atlanta Dream has proven to be extremely controversial. A further Republican senator from Georgia, Loefflerb publicly opposed the Black Lives Matter movement and called for the depoliticization of sports. The WNBA being arguably the most socially active sports league has fought vehemently against Loeffler on both fronts, even going to the extent of campaigning for he opponent on the Georgia senate race, Reverend Raphael Warnock.

The league fought hard to get her to sell her team, but she refused to do so in the past. Now that she has lost her senate seat to Warnock, it appears that she has reconsidered.

“As it relates to the Atlanta Dream, we understand a sale of the franchise is close to being finalized. Once the sale negotiation is concluded, additional information will be provided,” read the statement.

Megastar LeBron James had previously expressed interest in buying the team. The sale price or the new owner has not been reported. Mary Brock, another Georgia businesswoman, currently owns 51 percent of the team to Loeffler’s 49 percent.

“We’re not going to force her to sell her ownership,” said WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert. “She is not a current governor, she is not involved in the day-to-day, and we are aware there are interested parties who want to purchase the team.” Now, a sale appears to be imminent regardless. After months of campaigning and tireless effort, the Dream and the rest on the WNBA appear to be getting their wish.

Clint Capela gets rare triple-double with ten blocks against Timberwolves

0

Clint Capela has been on a tear as of late. His last two games have put him in good company in the history books.

Earlier this week, Capela donated the Detroit Pistons in the Atlanta Hawks’ overtime win, going for a huge double-double with 27 points, a career-high 26 rebounds and five blocks. It was his first 25-point, 25-rebound, five-block game since Shaquille O’Neal in 2004. In the last 35 seasons, the NBA has only seen five players accomplish this task – Capela, O’Neal, Patrick Ewing, Dikembe Mutombo and Hakeem Olajuwon.

Then, on Saturday against the Minnesota Timberwolves recorded a triple-double with 13 points, 19 rebounds and a career high 10 blocks to lend a helping hand to All-Star guard Trae Young’s 43 points in the team’s victory.

Young scored 25 points in the first half as the Hawks took a 19-point lead at halftime. He reached 40 points late in the third quarter with a step-back which put the Hawks up to 84-59.

Capela had six blocks in the first half as Atlanta held Minnesota to 43 points on 16-of-35 shooting. The Hawks’ players on the bench stood up and cheered as Capela picked up his 10th block in the fourth quarter, swatting away a shot by driving Jordan McLaughin.

Capela became the third player in Hawks history with 10 blocks in a game, joining players Dikembe Mutombo and Josh Smith.

“I’ve never seen 10 blocks person,” said teammate Young. “What he did tonight was unbelievable. He’s been doing this consistently for us. You’ve got to give credit where it’s due. He’s playing really well for us.”

Intel Core i5-11500 spotted, beats Ryzen 5 3600X but falls behind Ryzen 5 5600X

0

Intel is all set to launch its next-gen Rocket Lake-S desktop CPUs in March and we are getting a lot of leaked benchmarks of these upcoming processors now. Already the Core i9-11900K, Core i7-11700K has been spotted, and now it’s turn for the budget Core i5-11500.

Spotted by none other than @TUM_APISAK, the Core i5-11500 seems to have a good improvement over last-gen, essentially in the single-core score. It has been spotted running with 16GB RAM along with a 2.71 GHz base and 4.57 GHz boost frequencies.

This could be Intel’s key to budget success as in recent years it has found a lot of sales in the budget with value for money CPUs like Core i3-9100F, Core i3-10100, and Core i5-10400. The new 11th Gen Core i5 has posted a healthy single-core score of 1588 points which is a healthy improvement by a whopping 35%!!!

The Core i5-10500 posted a Geekbench score of 1176 points in single-core and multi-core score of 5997 points. This means the new Core i5-11500 has 20% improvement in multi-core performance, which is indeed very impressive considering the fact that it is still based out of 14nm process.

This easily beats out the Ryzen 5 3600X but does fail to beat the Ryzen 5 5600X, however, its main competition will be with the upcoming Ryzen 5 5600.

Martin Odegaard all set to join Arsenal on loan from Real Madrid

Martin Odegaard has been hailed as the successor of the ageing Luka Modric. He was brought back from Real Sociedad, where he was on loan, to fight for a starting place at the Santiago Bernabeu. He was finally starting to rise to his potential before an injury led him to the sidelines.

Since then, he has found game time hard to come by. He has fallen down the pecking order of Real Madrid manager Zidane Zidane. Odegaard was one of the best players in LaLiga last season with Real Sociedad. Still, he was not getting enough opportunities at Real Madrid this season as Zidane preferred the midfield trio of Kroos, Modric and Casemiro.

Odegaard has now decided to go on loan to once again revive his career and achieve his full potential. He was open to joining Real Sociedad once again but when he talked with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta he was convinced to join the Premier League side.

Real Sociedad manager Imanol also revealed that Odegaard was open to the possibility of returning to Real Sociedad, but after speaking with Arteta, he has made up his mind of joining Arsenal.

Real Madrid and Arsenal have been negotiating over a simple loan move until the end of this season for Martin Odegaard. Both the clubs share a good relationship as another Real Madrid player Dani Ceballos is also on loan at Arsenal since last season.

The Norwegian is hoping to find a club where he can get regular game time to unleash his full potential. Arteta’s Arsenal is also lacking a creative midfielder who can create goal-scoring opportunities from the middle of the park.

Odegaard can help Arteta to make a late fight for a European place. He can connect the defence and attack very well. He also has a very good vision which can help Aubameyang to be in the goalscoring charts once again. Real Madrid will also have his wage bill off their books. So it’s a win-win situation for all the parties involved.
