The release date of the blockbuster movie RRR confirmed by SS Rajamouli

On January 25, the filmmakers of RRR have announced the release date of the film on October 13 worldwide in different languages. Jr NTR and Ram Charan will play the lead role in this drama with them; there also will be Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in an important role. At first, the release date was fixed for January 8, 2021. But due to the pandemic situation, it had postponed.

The director SS Rajamouli has shared a new poster from his official Twitter page with the film’s release date. He wrote that he witness the unstoppable force of fire and water on October 13, 2021. From the latest poster, it is cleared that RRR will release on October 13 this year. With Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, this film is set to release in multiple foreign languages.

The movie RRR has made with a giant budget produced by DVY Danaya; the budget is more than Rs. 450 Crore. According to the director, RRR is a fictional story of two Telugu freedom fighters named Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Actor Ram Charan will play Alluri Seetharama Raju’s role, and Jr NTR will be seen in Komaram Bheem.

Besides Indian actors, many foreign actors will also be seen in this movie, like Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, and Olivia Morris will be seen in some important roles. According to the previous poster, it is assumed that Ray and Olivia will play Mr. and Mrs. Scott’s role in RRR.

Last week accidentally, Alison Doody had announced that RRR would be released on October 8. After sharing the post, she realized the fault and deleted the post before it went viral. But generally, some people had spotted the post already before delete it.

FC Goa becomes the first Indian club to directly qualify for the group stage of the AFC Champions League after securing the top spot in the ISL group stage last season.

AFC is going to introduce a new format in AFC Champions League and AFC Cup this season. AFC Champions League will be played with 40 teams this season.

Yesterday, the group stage draw was held. FC Goa is in the ‘Group E’ with last year’s runners-up Persepolis FC and Qatari club AL Rayyan. The 4th team of the group is yet to be decided.

The preliminary stage of the competition will kick off on 7 April. The group stage matches of West Zone (Groups A to E) will be held between 14 to 30 April and then for East Zone (Groups F to J) it will be held between 21 April to 7 May.

As per the new rule of AFC, the group stages matches will be held in only one venue for each group. FC Goa want to host the matches of AFC Champions League.

FC Goa team director Ravi Puskur said, “It would be a great opportunity for AIFF (All India Football Federation) and Goa and would open a brand new market for the competition. Goa has proved its hosting capability with the ISL and the under-17 World Cup. Don’t see why Goa can’t be given the opportunity.”

AIFF general secretary Kushal Das said, “The bids open on Friday. We will bid.”

FC Goa is in a comparatively tough group in the AFC Champions League. They are in a good form in ISL this season. FC Goa is now 3rd in the ISL table. They can surely give a tough fight to their opponents in ACL.

In his first season suiting up for the Brooklyn Nets, Kevin Durant has been averaging about 30 points per game for 15 consecutive games, making him only the second player in NBA history to log in that stat with a new team.

According to ESPN Stats and Info, Wilt Chamberlain achieved the feat in the 1959-60 season with the Philadelphia Warriors. Unlike Durant, those were Chamberlain’s first-ever games in the league.

Kevin Durant is rightly considered as one of the most potent scorers in the history of the game. Other than two rings, numerous All-Star and All-NBA selections, the megastar also has four scoring titles in his trophy case. He is also a part of the exclusive 50-40-90 club, which only consists of eight players till now. In the 2012-13 season, Durant entered this club as he shot 51% from the field, 42% from downtown and 91%% from the free-throw line.

Currently, Durant is having a phenomenal season. Entering play on Wednesday, he is averaging 30.1 points per game and 7.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.4 blocks per game.

NEW YORK, United States of America, January 27, 2021/ — NBA All-Star Voting Will Be Available Across NBA.com, NBA App and Twitter; discussions Regarding Potential NBA All-Star Game Are Ongoing

NBA All-Star Voting 2021 presented by AT&T (ATT.com), the official 5G wireless network of the NBA, will tip-off tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 28 at noon ET and conclude on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 11:59 p.m. ET, giving fans the opportunity to vote for the NBA All-Star starters.  Discussions surrounding a potential NBA All-Star Game are ongoing.

Throughout the voting period, fans may submit one full ballot each day via the NBA App and NBA.com, as well as vote for up to 10 unique players per day on Twitter.  All current NBA players will be available for selection.  Five “2-for-1 Days” will allow fans to have their votes count twice on Jan. 30, Feb. 2, Feb. 4, Feb. 13 and Feb. 16 through Twitter, NBA.com and the NBA App voting platforms.  All “2-for-1 Days” will be designated from midnight ET – 11:59 p.m. ET.

NBA players and media will join fans in selecting the NBA All-Star starters.  Fans will account for 50 percent of the vote, while all current players and a media panel will account for 25 percent each.  Players and media will be able to complete one ballot, featuring three frontcourt players and two guards from both the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference.

After all, votes are tallied, players will be ranked in each conference by position (guard and frontcourt) within each of the three voting groups – fan votes, player votes and media votes.  Each player’s score will be calculated by averaging his weighted rank from the fan votes, the player votes and the media votes.  The two guards and three frontcourt players with the best score in each conference will be named NBA All-Star starters.  Fan voting will serve as the tiebreaker for players in a position group with the same score.

Manchester United’s excellent run in the Premier League is halted by the 20th placed Sheffield United last night.

Manchester United was beaten by Sheffield United at home by 2-1. Manchester United was not at their best yesterday. The Red Devils have created enough chances but failed to capitalize on them.

Sheffield United took the lead in the 23rd minute as Kean Bryan headed into the net from a corner. Manchester United came back in the 64th minute as Harry Maguire scored the equalizer. But they conceded again in the 74th minute. Defensive flaws cost Manchester United this season many times. The same happened again yesterday.

After the match, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted the fact that Manchester United was not in their top yesterday. He said, “We had all the possession but when you concede two bad goals it’s always going to be difficult.”

“We didn’t create big enough chances to score enough goals. That magic was missing, that little bit extra.”

“They defended well, fair play to them but we didn’t have the right ideas or solutions. The first goal is a foul, Billy Sharp runs into David de Gea. At the other end, no foul for the disallowed goal for us but it’s that kind of season. Two mistakes by the referee.”

“It wasn’t to be, the second goal we conceded is so poor, so sloppy. Easy. We stopped getting out to the ball, three or four bad decisions which are out of character.”

“There will be no big inquest. There have been so many odd results this season, but with the world, as it is we have been the most consistent team, it hit us today.”

NBA reschedules games during the first half of season involving Wizards, Trail Blazers, Hornets

Heading into the 2020-21 season, the nba did not release a full schedule. They chose to release just the first half, which ends on March 4. It did so because of health concerns during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and to give itself added flexibility in the event that games had to be rescheduled.

Since the onset of this season, nearly a dozen games have already been postponed because of coronavirus.

On Wednesday, the league announced three schedule changes in a press release. It read:

“The National Basketball Association announced today that it will reschedule during the First Half of the season certain games that were previously postponed. In addition, certain games that were otherwise scheduled for the Second Half will now be scheduled into the First Half, with a more specific focus on the teams with the most postponed games to date. To create maximum flexibility, dates of existing games may also be moved in order to schedule additional games into the First Half.”

The changes in the league’s schedule are as follows:
-Portland Trail Blazers vs. Washington Wizards – February 2 (originally scheduled for second half of the season)
-Washington Wizards at Charlotte Hornets – February 7 (rescheduled from January 20)
-Portland Trail Blazers at Charlotte Hornets – Postponed (moved to second half of the season)

The Wizards had six straight postponed games in the middle of January because of a coronavirus outbreak. Moving all the games to the second half would have created issues not only for them, but also for the teams they were set to face.

National, January 28, 2021: Mobile Premier League (MPL), India’s largest esports and mobile gaming platform, today announced that it has raised $500,000 from its existing employees as part of its unique Employee Investment Plan.

MPL’s efforts to ensure that talent in the company is rewarded is not new. In September 2020, the company had announced an ESOP buyback plan worth $3.2 million during its Series C funding round, which saw it raise $90 million from SIG, RTP Global, MDI, Sequoia India, and others.

This unique Employee Investment Plan, which was announced in December 2020, was open to all employees of MPL. They could invest anywhere between $2,300 and $23,000 in the company and acquire stock. Over 10 percent of MPL employees participated in this plan, with the total amount raised at $500,000.

“This initiative was introduced so that our most valuable asset, our employees, get an opportunity to own part of MPL and participate in the company’s success. We are privileged to work with people who have invested in the company’s future. This underlines the trust they have in MPL and MPL’s faith in its people,” said Joe Wadakethalakal, SVP, Corporate Development and Investor Relations, MPL.

The company further said that it would continue to extend such opportunities to its employees in the future.
