Intel Core i9-11900T & Core i7-11700 spotted on Geekbench

0

Intel’s Rocket Lake-S desktop CPUs will be launching in the coming months, and we have spotted a lot of them until now. These 11th Gen processors will come with a new Cypress Cove architecture and some IPC gains to help Intel get back its single-core dominance.

The new CPUs spotted are Core i9-11900T and Core i7-11700, both are 8 core processors and featuring new Intel UHD Graphics 750. Interestingly, the Core i9-11900T comes with lower clock speeds than the Core i7-11700, so there’s a natural performance difference.

The ‘T-Series’ of Intel chips are power limited to 35W, so they are mostly seen on embedded systems or mini-PCs. However, here we see the Core i9-11900T with a timid base clock speed of 1.5 GHz and a boost of 4.89 GHz, resulting in a handsome score of 1717 in single-core and 8349 in multi-core.

When compared with the Core i9-11900K, the lower TDP variant has 400 MHz lower boost frequencies and lower scores as well. For graphics, there’s the Intel UHD Graphics 750, which scores 7761 points in OpenCL benchmarks.

The regular Core i7-11700, on the other hand, with 65W TDP, has a good performance with 2.5 GHz base and 4.88 GHz boost frequencies. On Geekbench 5, the non-K variant of the i7-11700 manages to put up a good score of 1718 in single-core and 9942 in multi-core.

Even though both of these CPUs have defeated the new AMD Ryzen 5000 series in single-core, however, still cannot beat the Ryzen 7 5800X in multi-core benchmarks.

Processor:

Poco M3 and Nokia 5.4, both are powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662G mobile processor. Hence, nothing to separate between the two in this aspect.

Camera:

Nokia 5.4 offers a quad-camera setup which includes a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2 MP lens for depth shots, and one 2 MP macro camera. In comparison to this, the POCO M3 sports a triple rear camera setup.

Nokia 5.4

This setup includes a 48 MP primary camera, a 2 MP macro, and a 2 MP depth sensor. The additional 5 MP ultra-wide sensor in Nokia 5.4 gives it the edge in this domain.

Poco M3

Battery:

Poco M3 is packed with a powerful 6,000mAh battery cell and is paired with 18W fast charging technology. As compared to this, Nokia 5.4 offers you a much weaker 4,000mAh battery unit which comes along with 10W charging support. Thus, Poco M3 is the winner here by a country mile.

Price:

Poco M3’s 6 GB +64 GB storage option will come at a price tag of Rs 10,999. Its 6 GB + 128 GB variant will cost you Rs 11,999. Nokia 5.4’s 4GB + 64GB variant comes for Rs. 13,999 whereas 6GB + 64GB storage variant.

Conclusion

The Mobile processor is the same for both smartphones. Thus, it does not affect our choice. Nokia 5.4 offers slightly better shots with the aid of a 5 MP ultra-wide lens. But keeping that sensor aside, they are the same in optics as well. In terms of battery and display, Poco M3 leads the fight. Also, it is the cheaper device in both variants. Thus, it is Poco M3 that is taking a better position in this comparison. Though, do your own analysis and see which smartphone suits you better as every individual is different.

Ansu Fati and Pedri make it to the Top 10 of 50 best youngsters

0

French outlet L’Equipe has released their list of the top 50 players born in, or after 2001 and the top spot is awarded to none other than Barcelona’s Andy Fati. The youngster joined the Barcelona youth academy from Sevilla and has since graduated into the first team from the world-famous La Masia academy of the Blaugrana.

This season, Fati has managed to make a giant leap in establishing himself ahead of other quality forwards such as Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele and Francisco Trincao. The 18-year-old has been involved in 9 goals this season, netting 5 and assisting 4 across La Liga and the Champions League.

Currently, though, the winger is out with a medical laceration and is expected to make his return to the first team in March.

Barcelona’s Pedri has also managed to get onto the top 50 list, coming in at 4th behind Eduardo Camavinga of Rennes and Ryan Gravenberch of Ajax.

While Barcelona might not be what they once were, their academy has not lost its shine and reputation of producing world-class talents. A youth system that produced the likes of Xavi, Iniesta, Carles Puyol and Sergio Busquets as completely homegrown talents has shown it’s worth in Pedri and Fati once more.

Dortmund’s Giovanni Reyna and Jude Bellingham have also managed to get onto the list, with Premier League starlets Mason Greenwood and Bukayo Saka making it into the plan. Yari Verschaeren of Anderlecht and Myron Boadu of Eredivisie club AZ are the two lesser-known entries in the top 10, who are being tipped for successful careers L’Equipe.

Analyst Firm informs the sale of next-gen consoles is not faster in comparison with last-gen

0

As per Ampere Analysis data, the sales of next-gen consoles aren’t going any faster than the previous-gen. Though, Microsoft and Sony both are claiming that they had the best ever launch for Xbox and PlayStation consoles, respectively.

According to GamesIndustry, the analyst from Ampere Analysis believes that 2.8 million units of Xbox Series X and S have been sold to date, which is nearly 100K units less than the Xbox One did in the same time interval. Microsoft focuses on Game Pass, but the analysts think the sale of Xbox Series X and S hardware will remain a keystone of the Xbox business at least until 2025.

PS5 sold about 4.2 million units, as per the records of Ampere Analysis, which is about 300K units less than the official figure of Sony’s 4.5 million units, release last week at the time of the company’s financial.

PlayStation 5 sold nearly the same compared to the PlayStation 4, though the PS4 was not available in Japan, which makes the performance of PS5 a little less positive impact in comparison. Ampere Analysis specified that the limitation of availability was a factor, otherwise, the sale of the next-gen console for the PS5 could exceed five million units. As per the analysts, PS5 could sell between 7.6 to 8 million units before the end of March.

Meanwhile, Nintendo becomes the real winner, as its Switch console made an impressive sale of 26.3 million units all over the year, surpassing the previous record of the company by nearly 2 million units.
