Lenovo’s Legion gaming laptop series is exceptional for professional and casual gaming; among them, the Legion 5 model is one of the most “value for money” product last year. This year though, we have got the “Pro” variant of the laptop and the regular Lenovo Legion 5 15.6-inch and Legion 5 17-inch that we saw at CES 2021.
The Lenovo Legion 5 Pro, on the other hand, borrows the same design but is more premium at some ends. The most important thing is that it sports new AMD Ryzen 5000H gaming processors with up to 8 Zen 3 cores and 16 threads.
This is the first time we will see beefier NVIDIA RTX GPUs paired with AMD processors, and the Legion 5 Pro is one of them. With a QHD display and 165Hz refresh rates, the Legion 5 Pro is one of the best; the display is 100% sRGB colour accurate and supports both NVIDIA G-SYNC & AMD Freesync.

GameStop is again at the top spot. The video game retailer’s share started to rise before the market close on Wednesday – and GME just closed at $91.71, which is around 104% for the day.
At the beginning of the month, the stock fell so bad and now it’s the highest since then, Reddit-fueled rally that helped to send it as high as $483 a share. At the time of the afternoon, trading on the stock was pulled up twice.
The community of retail investors is very happy at the results and taking a big jump as proof that the game isn’t over yet. There is very much interest in the community.
Some events from this week might be helping to raise. Keith Gill, GME advocate known as u/DeepFuckingValue or Roaring Kitty, testified in the last week in a House Financial Services Committee hearing about the GameStop rally, where he had pleaded his case as an everyday investor who did like the stock. Later that week, Gill doubled his holdings to 100,000 shares in GME, worth at that time nearly $4 million, reported by The Wall Street Journal.
Yesterday, Jim Bell, the former chief financial officer of GameStop has announced his resignation, a shocking departure Insider now reports that the company’s board of directors might “lost faith” in the executive.
Ryan Cohen, the Chewy founder – whose interest in the company did help facilitate its skyrocketing stock price – posted a photo of one ice cream cone with an emoji of a frog for the caption.
GIGABYTE has recently launched a new variant of the mid-range RTX 3060 GPU, known as the AORUS GeForce RTX 3060 ELITE. One of the key highlights of the GPU is that it has got the Resizable BAR support that NVIDIA announced for the RTX 3060 and the rest of the RTX 30-series GPUs.
Based on PCIe Gen 4, the new GPU has wider compatibility of Resizable BAR with more components or boards. So the list includes Z490, H470 and B460 chipset motherboards, including the new & upcoming Intel 11th Gen motherboards.
Whereas, also there’s support for AMD motherboards, including both 400- and 500-series motherboards. Obviously, the AORUS GeForce RTX 3060 ELITE will be compatible with Ryzen 3000 and 5000 series processors to enable this feature a get better performance at no extra cost.
The GPU has unique threefold-blade fans, and the middle fan can spin in reverse to manage the airflow. It features 3584 CUDA cores and is overclocked to 1,867 MHz, whereas the reference card is 1,777 MHz. It comes with 360 GB/s bandwidth and 192 bit memory bus.

As of now there’s no information on the pricing and availability of the GPU.
As per one report by the reliable folks at Video Games Chronicle, the writing is in fact on the wall for Sony Japan Studio. The developer of everything from Ape Escape to Gravity Rush, to Shadow of the Colossus, has seemingly been ceased most of its staff.
Team Asobi, the Astro Bot developer, is going to remain and absorb few Japan Studio employees. But the maximum will be going elsewhere, including Bokeh Game Studio, the newly independent company of Silent Hill creator Keiichiro Toyama. Still, these are not official from Sony.
Jim Ryan, the current PlayStation CEO, doesn’t think Japan Studio games as profitable enough, as they would prefer to target the major blockbusters with a workable appeal-like Spider-Man and God of War. This approach skips the fact that Japan Studio forged much of the PlayStation brand’s soul and personality.
Today, Masaaki Yamagiwa, the Bloodborne and Tokyo Jungle producer announced that he is leaving Japan Studio at the end of the month.
2月末でSIE JAPAN Studioを離れることになりました。これまでありがとうございました。次の場所でもゲーム制作を頑張ります。 I’m leaving Sony Interactive Entertainment at the end of this month. I’m going to continue working hard on creating games. Many thanks to everyone! pic.twitter.com/WPpiLpCtoY
Ryo Sogabe, a cinematic director who has worked on plenty of Sony published games has also announced his departure.
I have a information. I will leave from SIE JAPAN Studio at the end of Feb. Rather than working, I've been playing with PlayStation and videos for the past 14 years. I will continue to play new challenges in the new company to bridge between game and video. Thanks. #JAPANstudio
— Ryo Sogabe / SIE JAPAN Studio – Video Manager (@sogachin) February 24, 2021
Many PlayStation fans will be upset hearing the departure of Masaaki Yamagiwa, whereas many are hoping that Sony will return to the neglected franchise in some way. Sony has not even come up with a next-gen update for the game, it still runs at 30fps on PS5, though one official 60fps patch has been launched. Bloodborne is available on PS4 and you can play on PS5 via backward compatibility.
A new AIB has entered into the GPU market in the form of Chinese giant Lenovo, the company has brought a custom Radeon RX 6800 XT GPU that will be used in a 2021 7000P LEGION gaming PC.
Lenovo did post a video that shows the design of the GPU on the Chinese social media platform and it looks more like the older AMD Radeon VII. Now, the main question circulates whether or not Lenovo will be selling these GPUs separately or will be exclusive to its pre-built Legion gaming PCs.
The company has also confirmed the fact that both of the Radeon RX 6800 XT and RX 6900 XT models will be designed by Lenovo, however, the video only shows the custom design of the former. It will feature the same AMD Navi 21 GPU along with 16GB GDDR6 memory along with the same TDPs.
Currently, the stock situation of these new AMD GPUs is worse as you can hardly get one that too at inflated prices. AMD has promised to improve the stocks in the coming days with an estimated timeline of H2 2021.
Andres Iniesta is still appreciated as one of the greatest midfielders to ever play the sport, and the Barcelona legend recently sat down and talked about his top ten moments as a footballer in Spain:
1. His official debut in La Liga
“For me it was undoubtedly one of the most important [moments]. To be able to debut in La Liga, to do so after pursuing that dream of officially debuting in the elite, as they say, was very special”, don Andrés told the interviewers.
Iniesta made his debut at 18, and the start of a legendary career is something that will no doubt stay in his memory forever.
2. His first goal in La Liga
“It was a match in Zorrilla, against Real Valladolid. I came off the bench and had the opportunity to score a goal and that first goal with your team is always very exciting”
Coming off the bench and scoring can only boost your stock, and the midfielder did exactly that when he scored his first professional goal.
3. His first La Liga title
“It’s also very special. I remember the game, in the field of Levante UD. We had Ronaldinho, Etoo, Deco … with Rijkaard as coach. The first title also has a very important corner in my life.”
The team’s journey during Frank Rijkaard’s tenure was quite a rollercoaster of emotions. The Dutchman brought back Barcelona from the brink and made them winners once more. In that squad that boasted the likes of Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto’o and Deco, there was also a very young Iniesta.
4. First game as first captain of FC Barcelona
“First of all, he [the captain] feels a lot of responsibility. It is a very special moment. For everyone, but above all, for the people who have grown up at Barça, who spent so many years there … See, in this case, I had that opportunity, and although it was due to the absence of teammates, it was special. It was in a symbolic field in LaLiga, San Mamés, and I remember it with great joy.”
Iniesta inherited the armband from fellow midfielder Xavi and he went on to be one of the greatest club captains that Barcelona has ever had, always putting in a brilliant shift for the team and dictating the match from the heart of the park.
5. The mythical 2-6 at the Bernabéu
“Thore are games that we all remember. Sometimes we were happy, other times sad, but in this case, obviously, because of the importance of the game: La Liga was very even, because of how the game was, that we started losing and then we turned it around … I think It was one of the best games we played as a team and, above all, to do it at the Bernabéu, which is more important. And it was one of the games that the Catalans will always remember”
As a Barcelona academy product and as a player who has represented the club so strongly, beating arch-rivals Real Madrid in their own backyard with a thumping 6-2 result is no doubt an unbelievable achievement. And Iniesta was crucial to that win.
6. His sextet with FC Barcelona
“2009 was an incredible year, a historic year for the club and for football. It was a privilege. Obviously a sign of a job well done in a season in which you get all the titles. Being the first to do it shows us the importance or the difficulty of being able to do it. It is a year that will go down in history for FC Barcelona”
2009 truly was a historic year for the club and also for the sport as a whole. Barcelona conquered Spain, Europe and then the whole planet with their scintillating football.
7. Last official La Liga game
“It was a game … I think the most special one. For what it meant, my last game in my stadium meant that, with my people, emotions are running high from the moment you step onto the pitch and after it. That goodbye was something tremendous. As an anecdote, not only did I say goodbye that night, but also a very special player from the rival, an emblem of Real Sociedad, said goodbye too”
All good things must come to an end, and the midfielder was given a hero’s send-off in his last match. The goodbye made for a sad day for football fans all across the world irrespective of the club they support.
8. Last title he achieved while playing in Spain
“Those are magical memories because it was my last title with my club, and having the opportunity to lift the trophies and all the sensations and emotions that I felt before playing the game, during and after the game, were magical. In addition, I remember them, individually, as one of the best games that have come from me”
Back in 2017/18, Iniesta’s last campaign with Barcelona, the Catalans clinched La Liga and the Cup as well, sending their magician off with a domestic double to honour his legacy.
9. First standing ovation in Spain after the 2010 World Cup
“I have always said it: all the affection and respect that people have shown me is something that I have always classified as more important than any title. Everything was magical in many stadiums and, therefore, I am very grateful to the people”
The 2010 World Cup remains his greatest achievement as a football player to this day. Of course, that’s something he did with Spain and not Barcelona but that national team was full of Azulgrana players anyway. Iniesta scored the winner for the Spanish national team as they conquered the world and it is no doubt one of his favourite moments in his career.
10. When he was named the favorite son of Fuentealbilla
“It is a tiny town, like many in Spain, which not many people are familiar with, but for that part of my life it is nice that it is now recognised, that people know the name of Fuentealbilla with barely 2000 inhabitants”
No matter how famous he became and how big his name is nowadays, Iniesta will never forget his roots. Fuentealbilla is where it all began and now, courtesy of his fame and success, he can give something back to the people who supported him even when he was a nobody.
Benin and FIFA continue to work together on FIFA’s Football for Schools initiative, which promotes safe and healthy lifestyles for young people
COTONOU, Benin, February 26, 2021/ — FIFA President Gianni Infantino has met with the President of the Republic of Benin, Patrice Talon, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Oswald Homeky, and the President of the Beninese Football Association (FEBEFOOT President), Mathurin de Chacus, to discuss the ongoing development of football in the country, together with the challenges that face African football going forward.
The meetings, held in Cotonou, took place exactly five years after Gianni Infantino won the elections for the FIFA Presidency in 2016.
“The football passion here in Benin is incredible and the love for our game is heartwarming and inspirational,” the FIFA President said. “I want to commend President Talon for the investment his government has made for football, and the good work carried on by FEBEFOOT in nurturing football talent to improve skills and develop the game throughout this great nation. We need countries who can be models for others to follow both in the region and in the world, and Benin can very well be one of those models. We look forward to working even more closely with the government and FEBEFOOT to elevate football in Benin to the highest levels.”
The importance of promotion of sports and football in particular, through schools, a common theme throughout the FIFA President’s tour of Africa was one of the key topics in the discussions with the authorities. Among other projects, Benin and FIFA continue to work together on FIFA’s Football for Schools initiative, which promotes safe and healthy lifestyles for young people and teaches them life skills through football, and the Pan-African football tournament for schools was also discussed.
“We thank FIFA and FIFA President Infantino for returning to Benin, as it was here, two years ago that the signature of the first-ever memorandum of understanding on FIFA’s Football for Schools initiative took place,” said FEBEFOOT President Mathurin de Chacus. “Since Gianni Infantino was elected as FIFA President, he has shown a strong commitment in supporting African football with several initiatives. I commend the FIFA President for all he has done in the past five years to support football in Benin, in Africa, and worldwide.”
In addition, the Benin government and FEBEFOOT reiterated their commitment to develop various projects as a result of funding from FIFA’s Forward programme, including a Football Centre of Excellence in N’Dali, a city located in the northern part of the country.
We know AMD has teased the launch of the Radeon RX 6700 series on March 3rd and we anticipated that it will launch two of the GPUs as in the non-XT and XT variants. However, Cowcotland has claimed that the cut-down Navi 22 is not launching with the Radeon RX 6700XT.
AMD is said to show the RX 6700 XT only, the full-fat Navi22 model that should again stir the mid-range GPU market as its predecessor RX 5700 XT was one of the best 1440p gaming GPUs, widely preferred by gamers. It’s not that AMD is canceling the launch of RX 6700 but just delaying it:
We have some new information on AMD’s announcement on March 3. Only the RX 6700 XT will be announced. There was indeed an RX 6700 in the red program, for March 15th, but it has been delayed (for the moment) and we will therefore only have the RX 6700 XT which will be commercially available on March 18th.
Coming to the stock situation, unlike the weak Radeon RX 6800 series launch, the RX 6700 series launch is predicted to be a better one. Still, only 100 reference cards will be coming to France, according to Cowcotland, better than the double-digit figures of the RX 6800 series.
The Radeon RX 6700 XT specs include 40 compute units with 2560 stream processors, up to 12 GB of GDDR6 VRAM, and a 192-bit memory bus. A non-XT desktop version with only 6 GB of VRAM and dynamic TGP running between 146 and 156 W is also rumored to be launched.
Also, it reported by Videocardz that AIBs have been stocking these cards for quite some time and the situation will better than last time as there will be stocks but not enough to meet the excessive demands.
The framework is a startup based in San Francisco, and it has recently decided to embark on a journey towards its most ambitious project yet. According to sources, the startup will be creating a thin, lightweight productivity laptop that can be “upgraded, customized, and repaired in ways that no other notebook can.”
The founder of Framework, Nirav Patel told, me that the company aims to address his long-standing frustrations with consumer technology companies.
“As a consumer electronics company, your business model effectively depends on churning out constant tons of hardware and pushing it into channels, and into the market, and consumers’ hands, and then sort of dropping it and letting it exist out there. It encourages waste and inefficiency, and ultimately environmental damage.”
From what we know so far, the Framework laptop comes with:
13.5-inch 2256 x 1504 screen
1080p 60fps webcam
55Wh battery
2.87-pound aluminum chassis
11th Gen Intel processors
up to 64GB of DDR4 memory
“4TB or more” of Gen4 NVMe storage.
Buyers can swap out and upgrade various internal parts of the Framework, including the RAM, battery, and storage. But the company is trying to give even more freedom to its buyers.
— The first is that users can also customize and upgrade external components of the chassis, including the keyboard, screen, bezels (which are magnetically attached), and ports (via an expansion card system). This is something which we are hearing for the first time.
— The second is that Framework will be selling its modules in a centralized online marketplace. If your screen cracks or you feel like changing your bezels, you can find replacements that are custom-made for your laptop on the manufacturer’s site itself. The components are printed with QR codes that, when scanned, will bring you straight to a purchase page for their upgrades. It sounds pretty cool, I am impressed.
— The third is that users can also purchase a “DIY” kit of your selected parts, which you can then use to assemble the laptop yourself. It provides the user’s options like which OS to install. Be it any Linux distro or any Windows 10 variant.
Still, all this is just a conceptual idea for now and it all depends on whether the start-up can pull it off. And Framework is not the first company to go for such a venture. Big names like Dell and Intel have also undertaken similar projects only to disappoint in the end.
Patel, for his part, believes that “Other companies, they put it out there, and someone internally decided, ‘Eh, we’re going to focus on something else this year,’ and shut down the project. This is not something we’re dabbling in. It’s not a side project for us that someone thought was interesting. This is the core of our company.”
“We are releasing new modules, and upgrades, and accessories, and so on to drive the health of the ecosystem, and we’re going to continue doing that for as long as customers want us to,” Patel adds.
The framework will be taking preorders this spring, and the device is expected to ship this summer.
