Manchester United haven’t made an offer for Nikola Milenkovic

Many reports have classified Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic as the top target for Manchester United this summer. However, speaking on the topic on the Here We Go podcast, Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio clarified that the Premier League club is only scouting the player as of now. 

While the interest in the player is real, United have not placed any official bid yet. There are other clubs interested in the player too, and United will have to be concrete in their approach to try and prize the player away from Fiorentina for sure. 

Milenkovic’s contract expires in June 2022, and he has rejected Fiorentina’s advances to negotiate a contract extension, wanting to compete at a higher level than the Serie A club can offer him. They will hence, have to cash in on him this summer or risk losing him for free in 2022. 

Manchester United made a real bid for him a few years ago, as per Romano. But the transfer did not go through due to monetary disagreements between the two parties regarding the player’s value. Milenkovic is a versatile centre-back and can also be deployed as a right-back if needed. He has earned 26 caps for the Serbian national team and has played almost every minute of League football with Fiorentina this season.

Sponsorship revenues to grow 100% in IPL 2021

IPL 2021 is going to have a huge boost in sponsorship deals. As per sources, the sponsorship revenues can grow 100% in IPL 2021 compared to IPL 2020.

BCCI had recently announced Digital brokerage firm Upstox as the new official partner for IPL 2021. It means IPL 2021 will have 5 official partners in the league compared to the 3 of IPL 2020.

As per the sources, BCCI is holding talks with various companies and may add 1 more name to the official partner list very soon. BCCI had seen an almost 50% drop in the 13th edition of IPL, and the same is set to double this year.

However, without any new addition in future, IPL Sponsorship revenues have grown to 708 Cr this year for BCCI. In IPL 2020, it was just 400 Cr.

However, the increase in total sponsorship will be beneficial for the IPL franchises as well. They will also earn big this time as the sponsorship revenues are shared with them as per the contractual terms between both parties.

David Alaba only has verbal agreement to join Real Madrid

Despite the situation being silent for the last month or so, David Alaba still has a verbal agreement to join Real Madrid at the end of the season. The mutual agreement was confirmed by Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio on the Here We Go podcast.

With that said, it must be clarified that the player still hasn’t signed any paperwork with Real Madrid and still has his options open. In the meantime, other clubs are still trying to talk to his agent and potentially negotiate a deal with him. Among the other clubs interested in him are Chelsea and PSG. 

There were rumours that Barcelona’s new President Joan Laporta would try and bring Alaba to Camp Nou as part of the new project. However, those were squashed by Romano saying there are no talks between the two parties and that Madrid is the only club that has an agreement with the player. 

Los Blancos will have to pay a hefty €12 million for the player per season as part of his salary. Given the current financial situation, that is not something that a lot of clubs can afford and hence only the financially stronger clubs in Europe are pursuing the player despite him being a free agent at the end of the season.

Real Madrid haven’t lost a game in La Liga since February, and while the situation isn’t ideal, still managed to take a point off Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid. Moreover, they also eased past Atalanta in the Round of 16, qualifying for the quarter-finals for the first time in three years. 

Moving on to transfer talk, Luka Modric is confirmed to be staying. Speaking on the topic on the Here We Go podcast, Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio speculated that they probably want to announce Ramos and Modric together. Madrid president Florentino Perez will be pushing to retain Ramos. They have to find an economical agreement to make the player stay. 

As for the situstion of Martin Odegaard, Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal board, the director and the player are all very well connected. Odegaard is only on a simple loan that will expire at the end of the season. The two clubs will meet and the future of the player will be decided. 

Arsenal want to keep him considering his great professionalism and equally great performances. He was arguably the best January signing but wasn’t an easy deal, given that Real Sociedad were also trying to sign him.

After the launch of Mi 11, we’ve been a lot of news regarding the Mi 11 Lite. It has been a long time, but Xiaomi has not revealed the official launch date of the Mi 11 Lite. As of now, we’ve come to know that it will arrive in both 4G and 5G options as well as some of its key specifications. A recent report has come out sharing the design of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite via a leaked image.

As per the leaked image, we can see the front and rear panel design of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite. It shows that this phone will be available in three different color variants: Black, Peach, and Blue (as per the leaked image).

As per the first appearance, it looks quite similar to the Mi 11 especially in terms of the rear camera placement. But in Mi 11 Lite, we’re going to see a flat display instead of a curved one which we’ve seen in the Mi 11. For selfies, this phone will have a punch-hole located at the top left corner.

Apart from it, from some previous leaks, we’ve come to know that the Mi 11 Lite 5G will run MIUI 12 based on Android 11 and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 775G SoC paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. It will have a 6.55-inch display and regarding the camera section, it will feature a 64MP primary camera along with a 5x optical zoom lens. In terms of connectivity, this phone will have 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and so on.

On the other hand, the 4G variant of the Mi 11 Lite is expected to have a 10-it color OLED display supported by a refresh rate of 90Hz with the power of Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset. On the rear side, it will have a 64MP triple camera setup. The battery backup is expected to be 4,250mAH supported by a fast charging of 33W.

Manchester United is considering a move for the £51m Sporting Lisbon winger Pedro Goncalves.

Manchester United was in search of a winger for a long time. Last summer, they wanted Jadon Sancho. But the deal had not gone through as the Red Devils failed to match the asking price of Borussia Dortmund. Finally, they signed two teenagers- Facundo Pellestri and Amad Diallo. However, both of them possess an immense prospect. But they need some more time to develop.

However, Manchester United needs a quick solution to their winger problem. They will again go for Jadon Sancho next summer. If Borussia Dortmund rejected the offer for Jadon Sancho, they would go for Sporting Lisbon winger Pedro Goncalves.

The 22 years old Pedro Goncalves is in excellent form this season with Sporting Lisbon. He has scored 15 goals in his 21 appearances in the Primeira Liga. He has become the star player for the Portuguese side.

Goncalves is a very versatile player. He can play in both wings and as well as in central midfield position. It will increase the option in the team for Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Portuguese has spent two years at Wolves from 2017 to 2019, making one League Cup appearance, before moving to Sporting Lisbon after impressing at Famalicao.

Manchester United has a great business relation with Sporting Lisbon. From Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani to the latest addition Bruno Fernandes, they are all equally successful at Old Trafford. United fans can hope for the same with Pedro Goncalves.

OnePlus SmartWatch’s key specifications have been revealed by a relatable tipster, Ishan Agarwal. Recently, One Plus has confirmed that the much-anticipated smartwatch will be launched along with the flagship with the OnePlus 9 smartphones series on 23rd March. OnePlus only has revealed a teaser video not many details of the upcoming smartwatch and gives some hints about a circular dial and textured silicone strap.

It is expected that the OnePlus Watch will be featured with an IP68 that has the rating for dust and also with water resistance facilities.

Top 5 New Records made in Hero ISL 2020-21

The 7th edition of Hero ISL has come to an end recently as Mumbai City FC was crowned champion after beating ATK Mohun Bagan FC.

All the games were played behind the closed-door in just 3 different venues in Goa following the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

However, like every other season, Hero ISL did not fail to amaze us this season as well. Many new records had been made in this season. Here are some of those new records:

1. Maximum teams and matches

For the very first time, Hero ISL was played between 11 teams. The late addition of Kolkata Giant SC East Bengal made it an 11-teams League. As a result, a total of 115 matches were played as compared to the 95 of the last few seasons.

2. Kolkata Derby

‘Kolkata Derby’ is one of the biggest rivalries in Asia. Before the season started, Mohun Bagan AC joined hands with ATK FC and decided to play as one entity named ATK Mohun Bagan FC in the Hero ISL. Later SC East Bengal also joined the league.

ISL finally got the taste of the renowned ‘Kolkata Derby’. However, ATK Mohun Bagan FC got the double over their rivals this season.

3. 11-Goal Thriller

An 11 goals thriller between SC East Bengal and Odisha FC is the highest scoring match in Hero ISL history. It was an exciting contest between the last boys of the ISL this season. Odisha FC finally claimed the victory by a 6-5 scoreline.

4. Longest Unbeaten Run

FC Goa was unbeaten in 13 straight games and made the record of longest unbeaten run in the league history. Earlier, the Gaurs has a 12 games unbeaten run, which was shared with Mumbai City FC and Hyderabad FC.

5. Longest Tie-Breaker

This season’s ISL has seen the longest tie-breaker in league history as well. 18 spot-kicks were taken during the second leg of Semi-final 1 between FC Goa and Mumbai City FC. Mumbai City FC won 6-5 in sudden death and reached the final and eventually was crowned the champions.

Realme GT Neo to launch with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset on March 31

A few weeks ago, Realme launched its flagship smartphone Realme GT 5G in China with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and reports are coming out saying that Realme is going to launch a new variant of the Realme GT on March 31, named Realme GT Neo. Xu Qi, Vice President of Realme and President of Global Marketing of Realme also added that Realme GT Neo will arrive with a brand new design and now it will be powered by a different chipset, the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor.

The company also shared a teaser poster regarding the launch of Realme GT Neo by which we come to know that it is equipped with a rectangular camera module on the back along with the “DARE TO LEAP” tagline on the shell.

Apart from it, a Realme smartphone has recently been listed on TENAA’s website with model number RMX3116. The listing reveals that it will have a 6.55-inch display, which will be fueled by a dual 2,200mAH battery supported by 65W of fast charging. It is also expected that this phone will run on the latest Android 12 OS out-of-the-box. As of now, it is not confirmed whether it will launch as Realme GT Neo or not.

Realme GT 5G:

The phone is powered by a 4,500 mAh that supports 65W wired fast charging but no wireless charging support mentioned yet. Other details like it come with the HyperBoost 4.0 package for allocating as many resources as possible to gaming when you need that extra bit of performance, 4D in-game vibrations, faster loading times, dynamic sound effects, and more. The smartphone is fitted with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio-certified dual speakers and 3D tempered liquid cooling technology that can effectively reduce the phone’s temperature by up to 15℃ while gaming.
