HP is known for its innovative laptops and their x360 lineup has always redefined style along with productivity and refreshed it always so have they done at this CES 2020. Generally, we see 13-inch Spectre x360 convertible laptops but this time we have 15-inch x360.
In CES 2020, HP has managed to stuff 15.6-inch display into the small chassis of a 14-inch laptop, thus the screen has a screen to body ratio of 90%. The convertible’s display itself is a 15.6-inch 4K OLED panel, and HP claims it has a 30% wider colour gamut than DCI-P3.
For specs, we have up to 10th-gen Intel Core i7 processors and discrete NVIDIA GeForce graphics options as well. Overall, the laptop is a sleek convertible one with a great backlit keyboard and has a decent trackpad as well.
HP is offering a huge battery life of up to 17 hours and also features WiFi 6, a webcam kill switch for privacy-minded people, a mic-mute button, and a fingerprint reader for security.
The HP Spectre x360 15 is expected to go on shelves from March this year, for a starting price of $1,599.99, and will be available via HP.com, Amazon, BestBuy, Newegg and others leading retailers in the US.
According to several renders, we came to know that Xiaomi has filed a trademark application for the next POCO device. Most likely we will soon come across more details of the POCO F2, the next device from POCOPHONE and a successor of the POCO F1. POCO F1 was a major hit for a newly formed sub-brand’s first device. POCOPHONE debuted in the smartphone market with the POCO F1 device which then packed the latest Snapdragon 845, and few other high-end specs for a mid-range device. The POCO F1 became a hit due to its performance, processor, battery, liquid cooling, and camera. It was an all-rounder package at that time at a very affordable price.

Apart from launching its notebook, M.2 NVMe SSD, Samsung also announced its Samsung Portable SSD T7 Touch, a portable SSD that is secured by a fingerprint scanner. Previously also Samsung launched their potable SSDs and this too is a sleek one having a compact design with fast transfer speeds based on the USB 3.2 Gen 2 standard.
Obviously the unique feature of this product is the new biometric authentication system that secures your data stored in the SSD and can be retrieved by authenticating using the built-in fingerprint sensor. It also features a ‘Motion LED’, which allows the user to determine the status of the device simply with a single glance.
Samsung says that the T7 Touch brings the first built-in fingerprint scanner to their own portable SSD lineup on top of password protection and a secure AES 256-bit hardware encryption. There are can be up to 4 registered fingerprints to access the SSD.
The South Korean giant is offering the T7 Touch SSDs in three different storage variants including 500GB, 1TB and 2TB.

The Samsung Portable SSD T7 Touch has won the ‘CES 2020 Innovation Award’ not only because of its uniqueness but also the fact that it is 94% faster than the previous generation drives with reading speeds of up to 1,050MB/s and write speeds up to 1,000MB/s.
It comes with both USB Type-C-to-C cable and a USB Type-C-to-A cable and is also compatible with Windows, Mac and Android operating systems. Being such portable and sleek this SSD also looks good with its titanium casings in black and silver finishes.
Talking about its price, Samsung has priced the 500GB, 1TB and 2TB variants at Rs.11,999, Rs.18,999 and Rs.36,999, respectively. The Samsung Portable SSD T7 Touch series will be available in more than 30 countries worldwide by this month and will be launched in India in February.
Barcelona club legend Xavi is all set to take over from Valverde as the head coach
Xavi Hernandez’s potential return to Camp Nou is dominating headlines in Spain. The Barcelona legend seems to be in the pole position for the head coach role.
He has confirmed reports that he had met with the Camp Nou club’s director of football Eric Abidal in Qatar on Friday amid speculation he will be offered the opportunity to succeed Valverde.
Xavi has won eight LaLiga titles and four Champions Leagues with Barcelona in a glittering playing career. He was the main architect of Barcelona’s tiki-taka in the last decade.
BeIn Sports reports that Xavi will certainly take over the reigns, and it is just a matter of the details being revealed. Diario SPORT and Cadena COPE have both said that Al Sadd will not block Xavi’s path, but do request that he stay until Friday to manage the Qatar club’s upcoming cup final. Barcelona play their next match the following Sunday. The Spanish radio network also says Xavi’s representatives are in Saudi Arabia writing up the contract for him to join Barcelona.
Xavi told reporters: “Coaching Barca is my dream, I cannot hide that, everyone knows I support them from the bottom of my heart. Yes, Abidal is my friend. I’ve met him many times, so I cannot say anything, just that I respect Barcelona, I respect Valverde, I respect the players, I respect my club. They [Barca] were here to talk to me and we discussed many things. They were here also to check on Ousmane Dembele, that’s all.”

Xavi and his team are focusing on Saturday’s match against Al-Rayyan, and we know that a club with the size and professionalism of Barcelona will take to official channels to speak of such matters.”

Xiaomi backed Huami has taken part in the CES 2020 and has launched several new products to expand its portfolio. One of the key products of Amazfit in 2019 was the budget-oriented smartwatch – the Amazfit Bip. Huami has taken the first step by upgrading its popular smartwatch in 2020.

AMD made a great start to the year 2020 by launching its new 7nm based Ryzen 4000 mobile processors. They also launched the RX 5600 XT and also announced the world’s first 64 core HEDT processor – the Threadripper 3990X.

AMD during its keynote showed the actual power of this CPU and if we go by chart this CPU is the fastest one out there in the market. The Red Team even says that the Threadripper 3990X has 51% better performance than the 3970X.
The CPU scores a massive score of 25,399 points in Cinebench R20 which is truly unbeatable at the moment. The HEDT processor is intended for very heavy workloads and aimed towards digital creatives working in the field of 3D animation, VFX, rendering 8K videos and much more.
All of this has a handsome price, but not as much as Intel’s, of $3,990, matching its name. AMD has stated that the processor will make its way to the market from February 7th onwards.

Apple’s iPhone sale in China in December jumped more than 18 percent year on year, government data showed on Thursday. According to reports, Apple shipped roughly 3.18 million iPhones in China in December, data from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology and Reuters calculations showed.
This number count was up from 2.7 million a year earlier. But previously, Apple saw a 6% growth in China for the September and October periods. After a peak period in 2015, iPhone sales in China stagnated due to factors including longer upgrade cycles and competition from Chinese rivals.
In the third quarter of 2019, Huawei accounted for 42 percent of new phone shipments in China, according to research firm IDC. Throughout 2019, Apple offered discounts and financing schemes aimed at boosting sales in China. In the company’s last earnings call, CEO Tim Cook suggested that such initiatives were successful in attracting more Chinese consumers. Tim Cook added said that there were international currency issues involved, but also cited “fewer carrier subsidies,” and “some customers taking advantage of significantly reduced pricing for iPhone battery replacements” instead of upgrading.
The latest data affirms expectations that the iPhone 11 is selling more strongly than its predecessor, particularly in a market that’s second only to the U.S. in its importance to Apple’s bottom line. The surge in shipments gives reason for optimism around Apple’s smartphone sales in the buildup to the Chinese New Year, which falls in late January. China’s overall smartphone shipments in December fell short of 30 million units, a 13.7% decrease compared to the same period in 2018, according to CAICT. Apple is scheduled to release its next quarterly financial report in late January.

Samsung Galaxy S11 aka Galaxy S20 will be the next flagship device of the S series.
According to some reports, Samsung is unveiling the Samsung Galaxy S11 or S20 on 11th February. According to the leaks we came to know that two new smartphones will be revealed on that day. Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is another smartphone that we can expect more or less this time from the brand.
No official announcement has been done about the smartphones which will be launched. The twitter account of Samsung India is showing that the event will be held on 12th February in India.
The video does not hint about any smartphone, but from the video, we can see that it is showcasing two different blocks which can be hinting about two different smartphones or else the blocks can be indicating the rear camera design patters of two different smartphones. Those shapes are more likely to be the camera bumps of Samsung Galaxy S20 and Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. Nothing is mentioned officially, the original news will be revealed as we move further towards the launch event.
Some concept images of Samsung Galaxy S20 are made by OnLeaks, 91mobiles, Pricebaba, and CashKaro. These images show the rectangular block-shaped camera bump on the device. This might solve the riddle of the two types of shapes shown in the promo.
