S-Cinetone™ look profile which is inspired by the digital cinema camera VENICE’s colour science, also used in FX9 and FX6 Cinema Line cameras, and records up to 4K 120p

In response to a growing need for more expressive depth, the FX3, along with FX9 and FX6 Cinema Line cameras, allows users to create a cinematic look without post-production using S-Cinetone. Based on the colour science inspired by Sony’s flagship VENICE camera, S-Cinetone delivers natural mid-tones, plus soft colours and smooth highlights that are essential to cinematic look. Create movies with in-camera 4K recording at up to 120 frames per second3. Extraordinarily smooth slow-motion imagery (up to 5x) at QFHD (3840 x 2160) resolution with autofocus provides new expressive capability.

Compact and lightweight body design with high operability for hand-held shooting

The new Sony FX3 is the most compact and lightweight Cinema Line camera is ideal for handheld shooting, gimbal and drone-mounted work. It weighs just 715 grams, including the battery and memory cards, and the body is 77.8 mm high, 129.7 mm wide and 84.5 mm deep – without protrusions. The camera grip has been carefully designed to provide optimum flexibility, stability and comfort for long hand-held shoots.

Multi-thread (1/4-20 UNC) body makes it easy to mount accessories

Designed for mobility and efficiency, the FX3’s body features five thread holes (1/4-20 UNC) to easily attach compatible accessories while remaining light enough for handheld shooting and making it easy to carry and set up. The supplied XLR handle unit securely attaches to the body via the Multi Interface Shoe without any special tools and provides three additional thread holes for accessories: two on the top and one on the end. External monitors, recorders, wireless microphone receivers, the accessory shoe kit (cold shoe plate), or other add-ons can be securely attached.

OnePlus Pay emblemed in India, as a rival of Google Pay and PayTM

0

Currently, OnePlus is working on the launch of its own digital payment service in India. OnePlus Pay has been trademarked recently by the tech giant, it is assumed that this service will give a high rivalry with the other online wallet services such as Google Pay and PayTM.

The registration of the trademark had been found by Mukul Sharma, and he, himself has shared the news on his Twitter account. According to the tweet, the Chinese technical giant is thinking about its fast launching it as a house payment platform in the entire country, it is not yet confirmed about the availability of its service.

Image

At first, the company was exposed to their working on the payment service in 2019 in China. There will be a preloaded wallet app through which the service will be available, and all the users have to go to the settings and have set OnePlus Pay as its default NFC-based app.

If any user wants to use the NFC-based system then the users have to double-tap the power button to access quickly their digital wallet, after completing this process it will be linked to the users with their debit cards. In India, the company has the objective to partner with Indian banks or International payment gateways such as MasterCard or Visa which are a little bit popular in many regions and also many people use them. It has confirmed that the company has decided to supply support for RuPay credit and debit cards also with its Indian users.

OnePlus Pay Card Concept - UpLabs

This OnePlus Pay would also include a list of smartphone manufacturers who have claimed their own smartphone payment services. It is very clear that the company will have to face competition with third-party payment apps like Google Pay and PayTM which are based on the UPI system across India. It is expected that the company will reveal more updates about this digital wallet.

AMD announces its overwhelming response from Stockholders with its Xilinx acquisition

0

The Red team announced its acquisition of Xilinx in a $35 billion deal last year, and in 2021 their acquisition seems to move in the right direction as it receives an overwhelming response from stockholders.

The company’s CEO, Dr Lisa Su also tweeted this and welcomed team Xilinx to work together to make a new chapter for high-performance computing.

AMD will pay Xilinx shareholders a total of $35 billion in an all-stock transaction. According to AMD’s pricing, the company’s shareholders will then receive 1.7234 AMD shares in exchange for each share of Xilinx, and the price of each share is said to $82.9726.

The deal states that AMD shareholders will own 74% of the new entity, and the remainder will belong to Xilinx’s shareholders. So, as the stockholders of both parties have agreed to the acquisition, AMD and Xilinx can now work together for next-gen products.

As we stated in Wall Street’s prediction, with this deal, AMD would ultimately surpass MediaTek, a broad market share in the smartphone business. With Xilinx also being a user of TSMC’s process nodes, this deal could allow AMD to have higher bargaining chances from the Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer. It will enable the company to bring down its products’ costs and increase its demand.

“For several years, AMD has successfully executed our long-term growth strategy and deepened the company’s partnerships to drive high performance computing leadership,” said Dr. Lisa Su, AMD president and CEO. “The acquisition of Xilinx marks the next leg in our journey to make AMD the strategic partner of choice for the largest and most important technology companies in the world as an industry leader with the vision, talent and scale to support their future innovation.”

“The Xilinx team is one of the strongest in the industry and we are thrilled to be joining AMD,” said Victor Peng, Xilinx President and CEO. “Our shared cultures of innovation, excellence and collaboration will enable us to accelerate growth in the data centre and pursue a broader customer base across more markets as a combined company.”

Uber to spend big to attract more drivers to its service

According to sources, Uber Technologies Inc. is planning to spend around $250 million to get drivers back on the road and recruit new ones as the coronavirus pandemic eases in the U.S.

Using the money, the company plans to provide bonuses for drivers, with guaranteed pay and on-boarding for workers who are new to Uber. The program anticipates an eventual rise in demand as more Americans are vaccinated, and stores reopen.

As for the time when the company will invest the money, according to an official statement, it plans to do so in the coming months. Exact date is not mentioned, but it may just depend on whether covid can be successfully controlled in the country.

The company also stated that the bonuses it will provide would depend on various factors, including location and time. As we already know, that the company is recently running low in business, with its shares declining as much as 3.6% during trading Wednesday.

The company’s income and revenue are mainly dependent on the Ride services which it provides. However, owing to the pandemic, rider-ship heavily declines. Though work-from-home increased the food delivery service of the company, that hardly makes any difference. Many drivers for Uber and Lyft Inc. either sought work elsewhere or applied for government stimulus programs.

As such, to tackle the loss in manpower and to increase its driver base, Uber Chief Executive Officer Dara Khosrowshahi signaled a rise in driver bonuses during a conference call with investors in February. He proposes an increase in the spending in the first half of 2021, stating that it would boost driver supply and meet what he expected to be higher demand from riders.
