Chelsea willing to part with exciting youngster in the summer

Chelsea have a history of sending an army of young players out on loan, many of whom have recently made it into the first team including Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham and Reece James. The talent that we have a look at today is Ike Ugbo, who operates as a centre-forward and is on loan to Belgian club Cercle Brugge. 

The 22-year-old has been sent out on loan 4 times before this, making the Brugge loan spell his fifth. The other clubs that have had the player include MK Dons, Scunthorpe, Roda JC and Barnsley. He is an academy graduate of the Blues and is registered to their U23 team. 

This season, the player has shown great form in the Jupiler Pro League, making it into the starting XI on each and every occasion. Even more impressively, he has scored 15 goals and provided a solitary assist in 31 games played in the league. 

Speaking on the player’s future on the Here We Go podcast, Fabrizio Romano mentioned that Chelsea will have the player back in London at the end of the season and that Brugge are not going to exercise their option to buy. Chelsea will be open to selling Ugbo in the summer, and various clubs have registered their interest in him. 

Some of the clubs that are scouting him actively include Sampdoria, Fulham and Eintracht Frankfurt. Ugbo’s contract with Chelsea expires in 2022, and they could do with the inflow of cash from the player’s sale this summer.

Mumbai, 16th April 2021 — After an exciting round of national qualifiers held on 8th April 2021 and 10th  April 2021, “Wicked Gaming” has been crowned as the Indian national champion of the ROG Masters 2021, the first Asia Pacific online eSports tournament organized by ROG.

ClanConnect.ai’s latest research finds that almost 60% of Indian CMOs to have dedicated budgets for influencer marketing in 2021

New Delhi, April 16, 2021:  Given the growing affinity of consumers towards digital platforms to connect with brands, influencer activity has grown exponentially in India. In 2020, as brands solidified their online presence due to the COVID-19 outbreak, influencers became a part of the mainstream marketing plans. Against this backdrop, ClanConnect.ai, India’s first and only AI-driven influencer marketing platform, recently gleaned insights into the state of influencer marketing in India.

In the country’s foremost research on the influencer marketing space, ClanConnect.ai collated insights from CMOs of leading brands across the FMCG, Infrastructure, Fashion, and Textile, Media and Entertainment, BFSI, Pharmaceuticals space.  According to the data, 78% of marketing leaders leveraged influencer marketing in 2020, while a little over 13% of them initiated influencer activity for the first time in 2020. Interestingly, 52% of brands engaged more than 10 influencers in 2020, which coincides with the accelerated growth of the sector in the last year.

Greater spends on influencer marketing

In terms of marketing spends, ClanConnect.ai found that budgets allocated to influencer marketing grew significantly in 2020 as compared to 2019. In fact, 39.13% of the CMOs mentioned an increase in spends on influencer marketing. The other 60.87% saw no change in spends between 2019 and 2020. Furthermore, more than 50% of the respondents increased their marketing spends in 2020 vis-à-vis 2019, indicating the growing trust that industry-leading brands are placing in influencers for bolstering their brand message among the target audience.

Now, as influencer marketing has assumed a mainstream stature, 58.70% of CMOs are allocating separate budgets for influencer activities in their 2021 marketing plans. Simultaneously, 52.17% have decided to increase spends in 2021 as compared to 2020. It is not surprising, then, that almost 90% of CMOs are considering aligning up to 25% of their entire marketing budget towards influencer-led activities in the current year. Moreover, over 50% of the respondents are interested in increasing budgets by up to 25% in 2021. Such targeted financial investment in influencer marketing will provide a fillip to this space, catalyzing its growth over the coming months.

Mapping the immense scope in the influencer marketing space

There is no dearth of social media channels that brands can leverage for their influencer campaigns today. While 50% of CMOs find Instagram to be the most effective platform for these campaigns, 23.91% prefer LinkedIn, and 15.22% identify YouTube as their go-to platform.

Deep-diving into intent, ClanConnect.ai found that brands are investing in influencer-led activities to increase sales, create awareness on new products and create a library of user-generated content, a practice that has proven its potential in engaging and retaining consumers. 60.87% of CMOs also believe that the ambit of influencer marketing can also expand into affiliate campaigns, further indicating the great, untapped potential of the sector.

In another interesting finding, the survey revealed that almost 87% of CMOs prefer to conduct up to 25% of their influencer campaigns with micro-influencers. This proves that brands prefer to engage with influencers who have a dedicated, loyal following even if the number of followers does not go into the millions. 

Speaking on the findings, Kunal Kishore Sinha, Co-founder and COO – ClanConnect.ai, said, “Influencer marketing is at the cusp of exponential growth. As influencer marketing’s importance becomes apparent, over 41% of brands have taken the onus of managing influencer marketing mandates. On the flip side, 15% of them employ dedicated influencer marketing platforms and marketplaces to create and manage highly targeted and impactful campaigns. However, 89.13% of CMOs are concerned about influencer fraud in fake followers and engagement.

Mercedes Benz reveals its First Electric Car, the 2022 EQS Luxury Electric Sedan

Mercedes-Benz’s 2022 EQS electric sedan has finally come out of the shadows, and the two-tone paint job is sure to raise some interesting questions. Key details such as pricing have still not been disclosed. Still, the EQS is a bold break from the current crop of minimalist electric vehicles with its huge infotainment screen, big battery, and richly appointed interior.

In the fall of 2021, when the EQS arrives at dealerships, it will be the first long-range EV from the German automaker available to buy in the US, beating out the indefinitely delayed EQC compact SUV. It will be the first of nine other EVs that Mercedes aims to release by 2022. And as a close relative of the segment-defining S-Class, the company’s high-stakes effort to define the luxury EV market depends on the EQS.

The EQS features a 56-inch Hyperscreen with the company’s MBUX infotainment system, automatic front and rear doors, the augmented reality heads-up display, and various other luxury vehicle accruements. Gone is the all-digital front end we saw with the Vision EQS concept car, replaced with a “black radiator grille” with a “three-dimensional star pattern” that is also found in Mercedes’ AMG lineup.

A popular design among EVs across different brands where the headlights are connected by a light bar is present in the EQS. No hood ornament like you would find with the S-Class is seen, but on either side of the grille, the EQS did keep the air vents, steering clear of the flat, vent-less face of the Tesla Model 3 and other EVs.

The two-tone paint scheme is certainly a choice, but it is not completely out of the blue though: Mercedes does offer a two-tone finish on its Maybach S-Class. This should not be the only finish offered, and other options are sure to be explored with a quick trip to Mercedes’ online configurator.

The EQS will be available in two trim levels to start: the rear-wheel-drive EQS 450+ and dual-motor, all-wheel-drive 580 4MATIC. We should expect both to sell for over six figures, but no pricing details have been revealed. (By way of comparison, the base model of the S-Class is priced at $110,000.) Both models will be powered by a 107.8kWh battery pack, though a 90kWh battery-powered smaller version is also on the cards soon from the company.

Built on a brand-new EV architecture for the luxury automaker, the EQS is expected to get 770km of range — or 478 miles — based on the European WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure) cycle. That number will most likely drop when it’s eventually tested by the US EPA (the United States Environmental Protection Agency). However, it could still beat out the longest-range Tesla Model S. 

Of course, EVs still represent a small fraction of overall car sales, and the mass adoption that policymakers need us to begin will not be spurred by luxury vehicles alone. But with the right combination of range, power, and affordability, automakers such as Mercedes will have their work cut out for them as we move closer to an all-electric future.

Redmi 20X will soon launch in China as a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 10 5G

As per some reports, Redmi is going to launch three new smartphones in its home country very soon. The reports are saying that two of them will be 4G devices (powered by Snapdragon SoC) whereas the other one will be a 5G smartphone (powered by MediaTek Dimensity SoC). As of now, we’ve got the codenames of the three phones: Rainbow (4G), Camelia (4G), and Iris (5G). The retail names have not been confirmed for any of those devices.

However, the Iris model is expected to have a display with a standard refresh rate of 60Hz and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. In terms of the camera setup, this phone is likely to have a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor along with a depth and a macro shooter.

Another interesting report has come out regarding the upcoming 5G smartphone in China from Redmi, saying that it will be a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 10 5G, the retail name will probably be the Redmi 20X. As per the specs, the Redmi 20X will run on Android 11 OS and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimesity 700 5G chipset. Regarding the display, this phone is expected to offer a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The SoC of this phone is likely to be paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. Coming to the camera section, this phone is likely to offer a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor along with a 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies, this phone will have an 8MP selfie snapper at the front.

The Redmi 20X is expected to be fueled up by a 5,000mAH battery supported by 18W of fast charging. In terms of the pricing, the 4GB/128GB variant will likely carry a price tag of around 999 Yuan (~$153) in China.

‘Dance of the 41’: Netflix has revealed the trailer of the Mexican Scandal Drama

Netflix has recently launched the official trailer for the Dance of the 41, it exposes an intrigue-filled tale of a secretly gay congressman. It is expected that Netflix is going to add this drama to it’s library very soon. The story of this film depicts a secretly gay congressman who became married to the daughter of the Mexican president but after that, he has done hooks up with the young man at a private party.

Synopsis

The story of a congressman who is gay in secret has married the daughter of the Mexican president but after he has found cavorting with a young guy at the private party.  It follows the scandal which was happened in 1901 of the Ball of the 41 where police raided the private home in Mexico City and also revealed many prominent society men in drag. Then a scandal has smashed in the plot.

It is the way that Netflix explores the important scandal of the movie in the history of Mexico’s politics.

This film is directed by David Pablos and written by Monika Revilla. This film is included with many high-profile Latino actors. The names are Alfonso Herrera popular sci-fi series Sense8, in this he plays the role of Ignacio de la Torre, the main character in this film, Emiliano Zurita as Evaristo Rivas. The list of the cast also has included Mabel Cadena and Fernando Becerril.
