East Bengal have completed the negotiations with English forward Jake Jervis. The deal is all but completed, only subject to medical and visa clearances. In all probability, the deal will be closed very soon and we can see Jake Jervis in East Bengal colours. He will most likely be available for the match against Jamshedpur FC on 13th January 2023.

The 31-year-old Englishman started his professional senior football career at Birmingham City FC and has played for many English clubs. He has also played in Turkey and was currently playing for the Finnish top-tier club SJK Seinajoki last season. He has scored 75 goals in 342 appearances in his entire career until now. Jake Jervis can play both as a central striker and a wide forward. However, East Bengal are looking to sign him as a central striker as a replacement for Eliandro.

After serving as the BCCI president for three years, Sourav Ganguly is set to be the Director of Cricket of the Delhi Capitals franchise in the next edition of IPL that starts in April. He will supervise the cricket verticals of the franchise along with ILT20 team Dubai Capitals and SA T230 league side Pretoria Capitals.

“Yes, Sourav will be back with Delhi Capitals from this year. The discussions and modalities are over,”.He has worked with the franchise, shares a good comfort level with owners and if he would have worked in IPL, it would have always been with DC.” – An IPL source said

Earlier, Ganguly has been the metro of the franchise. As per reports, the recent auction held at Kochi had head coach Ricky Ponting and Ganguly’s say.

In the recent auction, DC signed five players including Phil Saltm Rilee Rossouw, experienced players Manish Pandey and Ishant Sharma, and Mukesh Kumar. However, it is still unknown, if Ganguly owns any minority stake in this franchise owned by GMR and JSW Group.

Ganguly’s stint as the BCCI president came to an end after the former World Cup winner and all-rounder Roger Binny was unanimously elected as the president in October 2022.

After planting millions of trees in India’s urban heat zones, wildlife habitats, biodiverse regions, hilly terrains, forests and arid areas since its inception in 2010, social organisation Grow-Trees.com has committed itself to planting 3 Million trees in the country in 2023. Explaining the reason behind this commitment,  Bikrant Tiwary, the CEO of Grow-Trees.com says, “India has committed to a 2070 net-zero target and we want to help the nation to implement and maximise green interventions as much as possible. We also believe that geographically contextual and eco-sensitive afforestation  and planting 3Million trees across India  will help us fight climate change as a nation and mitigate biodiversity loss and the impact of global warming.”

The humid primary forest also decreased by 3.6%. Amazon Studios has dropped the official trailer of the second and final season of Hunters after releasing the teaser trailer. The full-length trailer for the second season of Hunters, following the exploits of a team of Nazi hunters set in the 1970s, was released today.

The new trailer depicts the band joining together for a hunt after their exploits in Europe has derailed. In this season, the Hunters set out on a mission to hunt down history’s most infamous Nazi, Adolf Hitler, after Jonah finds that he becomes alive and hiding somewhere in South America. Jonah listened to the questioning on Hitler’s death in the trailer. He asks “They found his body and just simply burned it. You really believe that?”.

The entire team is taking preparation to include new members into their group while Hitler’s team preparing for their arrival. It indicates, Meyer Offerman (Al Pacino) encounters a threat that might expose his secret and his true identity, which might lead to unforeseen consequences for the Hunters.
