AMD Radeon RX 7000M RDNA3 GPUs officially coming for Laptops

AMD has unveiled the Radeon RX 7000 ‘RDNA 3’ Mobility GPU for the current generation of laptops powered by Ryzen 7000 CPUs. AMD has announced four new Radeon RX 7000 Mobility GPUs for laptops based on the newest RDNA 3 core architecture. The Radeon RX 7600M XT, Radeon RX 7600M, Radeon RX 7700S, and Radeon RX 7600S are the most recent SKUs.

The chips include the brand new Navi 33 GPU core, which has a die size of 204mm2 and is built on the 6nm production node, as compared to the Navi 31 GPUs, which use the TSMC 5nm process node for the GPU die.

The roster comprising team captain Ashmit Raj Singh (Sergeant Clash), Moida Jain (Instinct), Prashant Malik (Trashant) and Shaurya Shukla (Hero) are all notable names from the Brawl Stars community and specialists when it comes to their in-game characters.

Ashmit excels with the attacking potential of epic brawler ‘Stu’, Moida utilizes the high health and mobility of ‘Bibi’ to thrive and Prashant helps the squad with his quick speed as ‘Max’. Shaurya provides devastating damage output as ‘Spike’ to balance the team’s tactics and outperform the opponent perfectly.

“Revenant Esports has prominently focused on creating a sustainable ecosystem where multiple Esports titles can thrive and aid to the growth of the industry as a whole. Numerous organizations of the country are branching out to explore different gaming titles which will surely help the ecosystem to thrive and be dynamic instead of being too dependent on specific titles. Brawl Stars is one of the upcoming titles with a lot of promise and potential to become an influential title in the mobile-dominated era in India for the esports community. I am happy that as an outfit we are able to create a holistic team that is versatile and progressive and one of the most skilled rosters that is currently there in the industry. With multiple tournaments looming on the horizon, we are excited to see our teams in action and bring us success and glory,” said Rohit Jagasia, Founder and CEO of Revenant Esports.

Prevailing as a duo in various tournaments, Ashmit and Moida have been playing together since last year and are considered the pros of this gaming title, recording six monthly wins together in the Brawl Stars Championship 2022 SESA-ANZ finals and being World Finalists at the Brawl Stars World Finals 2022. With our immense success in 2022, we are looking forward to continuing to scale newer heights for Revenant Esports and becoming one of the country’s top Brawl Stars teams. Personally, winning the most MVP awards last year in SESA and ANZ region was one of the highlights of my career and I hope to perform at a simar level here too. Playing with the same teammates is always a big plus point as we are already familiar with each other’s gameplay and have great synergy which will come in handy for upcoming tournaments.”

Having assembled one of the most competent rosters in Brawl Stars, Revenant Esports will now aim to replicate the success which they have achieved in Esports titles such as BGMI, Call of Duty: Mobile, Valorant, Pokemon UNITE, CS:GO, Apex Legends and Clash of Clans at the national and international stage.

The roster will be making their competitive debut in the upcoming ESL Snapdragon Pro Series India as well as the Brawl Stars Championship with their main aim is to qualify for the Masters in Japan.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, Ryzen 9 7900X3D, and Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPUs have officially been released!

AMD has made their Zen 4 3D V-Cache range official, which comprises the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, Ryzen 9 7900X3D, and Ryzen 7 7800X3D. AMD Ryzen 7000 3D V-Cache CPUs are the second generation consumer V-Cache chips with stacked cache. While the Zen 3 lineup only has one 3D V-Cache SKU, the Zen 4 lineup will have three at radically different costs.

To begin, the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D will be the flagship and the first 16-core CPU to utilise 3D V-Cache technology. The chip will have 32 threads, 144 MB of cache (64 MB CCD, 64 MB V-Cache, and 16 MB L2), with a TDP of 120W. The chip’s base clock is rated at 4.2 GHz, which is 300 MHz slower than the normal 7950X, however boost clocks are rated at the same 5.7 GHz. This should explain why the TDP is 50W lower on the Non-3D component.

AMD

AMD arranges the 3D V-Cache architecture on the Ryzen 9 X3D components by placing the SRAM cache on a single CCD rather than both CCDs. As a result, AMD may enhance gaming performance with a single CCD while preserving the additional die to benefit from greater clock speeds (1T).

This means that, unlike the previous generation, there should be a mix between single-threaded gaming performance and multi-threaded apps without sacrificing overall clock rates. Because this is primarily a gaming chip, the cache die is the most critical feature to optimise. It will be fascinating to see how things play out in the final retail units, as well as how far AMD allows tuning on the new parts.

AMD

The second processor is the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D, which has 12 cores and 24 threads. This is likewise a two-CCD arrangement, with one CCD equipped with the V-Cache and the other without.

The chip has 140 MB of cache (64 MB CCD, 64 MB V-Cache, and 12 MB L2). The base clock is rated at 4.4 GHz, which is 200 MHz slower than the Non-3D SKU, and the boost clock remains at 5.6 GHz. The CPU has a TDP of 120W as well.

Finally, we have the Ryzen 7 5800X3D’s replacement and the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. With 8 cores, 16 threads, and the same 104 MB of cache (32 MB CCD, 64 MB V-Cache + 8 MB L2), this CPU is great for gamers. The CPU has a base clock of roughly 4 GHz, which is at least 500 MHz slower than the Ryzen 7 7700X, and a boost rate of 5.0 GHz, which is 400 MHz slower.

AMD
credit: AMD

AMD claims a 30% performance boost for the Ryzen 7 7800X3D over the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. The titles utilised are cherry-picked, and AMD isn’t disclosing any data such as the test settings or configurations used here, but if these findings are accurate, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D might become just as popular in the retail segment as the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. The AMD Ryzen 7000 3D V-Cache CPUs will be available in stores in February 2023.
