Chelsea’s pursuit of Enzo Fernandez has seemingly hit a roadblock. Benfica have been insistent on the fact that his price tag is his release clause worth €120 million. But, the Premier League side have never discussed paying the entire clause in one go.
There were plans for them to pay extra, with a fee worth €127 million being discussed which would be paid in instalments. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, the final bid from the Blues was worth only €85 million.

“There is a club that wants him, they tried to attract him, but they know that they can only have him if they pay the clause,” Benfica coach Roger Schmidt said on Thursday.
“It’s disrespectful to all of us, to Benfica, they’re driving the player crazy, they pretend they want to pay the clause and then they want to negotiate.”
Talks between the two clubs have seemingly collapsed after the bid from Chelsea. Although Enzo Fernandez has agreed personal terms for a move to England, it will not be possible without the release clause being triggered.
Fernandez would become the most expensive signing in the history of the English top flight if he were to join for €120 million. And while he is keen on leaving Benfica in January itself, it will not be possible without Chelsea reaching an agreement.
Chelsea have completed the signing of Benoit Badiashile from Monaco, and have announced his arrival on their social media accounts. The centre-back has signed for the Blues for a fee worth €37 million, and has agreed a massive seven-and-a-half year deal until June 2030.
The 21-year-old was the alternative to RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol, who earned a great reputation during the 2022 World Cup. The move for the Croatian was deemed too expensive, and the West London have signed Badiashile instead.

The CPU will cost $429 USD, which is $120 USD more than the Ryzen 9 7900X. While the base clock remains unknown, the boost clock has been reduced by 200 MHz, but given the price point, this 12-core processor looks great, and no doubt a lot of people will be upgrading to this sub-$500 US 12-Core Zen 4 chip. AMD will place the processor alongside the Intel Core i9-13900 and Core i9-12900 CPUs.

The Ryzen 7 7700 will have 8 cores, 16 threads, 40 MB of cache (32 MB L3 + 8 MB L3), and a maximum clock speed of 5.3 GHz. The CPU will cost $329 USD, which is $70 USD less than the Ryzen 7 7700X, which costs $399 USD. Given its 65W power budget, the Ryzen 7 7700 appears to be clocked just 100 MHz lower than the Ryzen 7 7700X. Given the 1.375x multiplier for the PPT, the total TDP should be approximately 90-100W. The Ryzen 7 7700 will compete with the Core i7-13700 and Core i7-12700 processors.

The AMD Ryzen 5 7600 will have 6 cores, 12 threads, 38 MB of cache (32 MB L3 + 6 MB L2), and a maximum clock speed of 5.1 GHz. The CPU will cost $229 USD, which is $70 USD less than the Ryzen 5 7600X, which costs $299 USD. The boost clock of the ‘X’ chip is 200 MHz slower. The Ryzen 5 7600 will compete with the Core i5-13600 and Core i5-12600 CPUs.

IO Interactive has stated that the renowned Hitman trilogy will be united into a single game in an unexpected statement. The news was announced earlier today via IO Interactive’s official site blog, and it marks the beginning of the Hitman series’ next phase. Hitman, one of the best stealth games on the market, has grown dramatically since its initial release a little more than two decades ago. Since the franchise’s inception in 2000, there have been numerous sequels and even two significant film adaptations.
The series, however, had a welcome resurrection with a gentle remake in 2016. Since then, there have been two sequels: Hitman 2 and Hitman 3, both of which offer a large amount of DLC material. However, it appears that franchise fans will just have to worry about owning one game rather than three.

IO Interactive said today in a blog post on its official website that Hitman 3 would be relaunched as Hitman: World of Assassination beginning January 26 of this year, integrating all three games into one.
With this rebranding, Hitman 3 gamers will gain free access to both Hitman 2 and the original Hitman. In addition, existing Hitman 3 owners will receive a free upgrade to World of Assassination.
