According to rumours, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be released as part of Apple‘s flagship lineup in September 2024 along with standard variants, iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. Historically, the Pro models tend to be where Apple introduces its new design and features, and that was true again this year.
More About the iPhone 16 Pro Max
The iPhone 16 Pro Max will be endowed with a massive size bump-driven 6.9-inch, Samsung M14 OLED Display (120Hz) offering up to 1600 nits of peak brightness. This is a big screen jump from the 6.7-inch display of its predecessor, iPhone 15 Pro Max. It has gotten a larger display and increased brightness, which will make the video watching more immersive for average users.
The bigger display will have smaller bezels due to Border Reduction Structure (BRS) technology, which would free up space for some components and circuitry under the panel. In practice, this means you will have 1.15mm visible bezels vs the 1.55mm on an iPhone 15 Pro Max for instance.
These are some of the specifications that Apple is working on for its A18 Pro chips used in iPhone 16 Pro models built with new N3E 3nm nodes. The A18 Pro chips there promise increased performance and efficiency too, meaning that the iPhone 16 Pro Max is one of the best-performing smartphones around.
The device will likewise get this new Capture Button, to improve the photograph and video shooting experience. This button will be located on the same side as the Power button and will allow users to zoom, focus, and capture photos and videos with greater ease and precision. In addition to the Capture Button, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will include the Action Button, initially introduced in the iPhone 15 Pro models. This button will be available across all iPhone 16 models.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to include a 48 MP main camera, a 48 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12 MP 5x periscope telephoto lens. These upgrades promise enhanced photography capabilities, especially in low-light conditions and for capturing distant subjects. The iPhone 16 Pro Max will support Wi-Fi 7 and feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X75 modem, offering faster and more efficient 5G connectivity. It will also come with a larger battery, estimated to be around 4,676mAh, providing longer battery life.

Samsung could be gearing up to announce the more affordable Galaxy S24 Fan Edition (FE) later in the year alongside its next-gen flagship Galaxy S24 series. The new model is already highly anticipated as the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has been released in October 2023, although Samsung doesn’t have an official announcement. Nonetheless, there have been leaks and rumors that a Galaxy S24 FE could come to exist.
More About the Upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 FE
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE may feature the identical 50MP with 1/1.57-inch ISOCELL GN3 sensor with 1.0μm pixels which is very much similar to the normal Galaxy S24, as per a leak from GalaxyClub. Rumors about more specs claim the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE includes an Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset depending on location. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is expected to feature a slightly smaller 6.1-inch AMOLED display compared with the Galaxy S23 FE’s 6.4-inch display. The phone is also likely to be backed by a 4500mAh battery, up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
However, more leaks hint at the model numbers and code names related to Galaxy S24 FE which reveals its availability in many regions. Additionally, a One UI test build for a new smartphone recently appeared on Samsung’s firmware server, which many believe is related to the upcoming Galaxy S24 FE.
The Galaxy S24 FE is expected to launch by late fall. While detailed information is still limited, industry rumors suggest that Samsung may also unveil its next-generation foldable devices, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, at a Galaxy Unpacked event rumored to be scheduled for July.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim remains a titan in the gaming world, captivating players with its vast open world, immersive RPG elements, and captivating fantasy setting. While replicating Skyrim’s brilliance is a tall order, several games offer experiences that capture its essence in unique ways.
This list explores a variety of titles, catering to fans who crave exploration, deep RPG mechanics, or simply a captivating atmosphere.
For the Dragon’s Dogma Disciple: Dragon’s Dogma 2 (2024)
Fresh off its release in March 2024, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a strong contender for the “Skyrim experience” throne. It boasts a sprawling fantasy open world, action-packed combat and a robust class system with unique pawn companions. Replayability flourishes with multiple endings and a treasure trove of secrets waiting to be unearthed.
A Return to Tamriel: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (2006)
Diehard Elder Scrolls fans often hold Oblivion in even higher regard than Skyrim. Released in 2006, it revolutionized open-world RPGs with bustling cities, engaging NPCs, and intricate narratives woven into the fabric of the world. Cyrodiil, the game’s region, is meticulously crafted, brimming with lore and waiting to be explored by those seeking a captivating Elder Scrolls experience.
Wasteland Wanderer: Fallout: New Vegas (2010)
While not directly from Bethesda, Fallout: New Vegas shares a lineage with Skyrim through its predecessor, Fallout 3. This 2010 gem offers a post-apocalyptic twist on the open-world RPG formula. Instead of dragons and dungeons, you’ll encounter irradiated wastelands and crumbling monuments. The core mechanics, however, resonate with Skyrim players, featuring similar character progression and combat systems.
A Gothic Gem: Gothic 2 (2002)
Gothic 2 is often viewed as a competitor to the Elder Scrolls series. However, it carves its own path with a more intricate combat system and a focus on atmosphere over sprawling landscapes. While quests, world-building, and character interaction exist, Gothic 2 is a distinct experience compared to Skyrim.
Cyberpunk City Beckons: Cyberpunk 2077 (2020)
Don’t be fooled by the contrasting settings; Cyberpunk 2077 shares surprising similarities with Skyrim. The open-world exploration in Night City feels remarkably akin to Skyrim’s environments. You can lose yourself for hours simply wandering and soaking in the atmosphere.
Character progression, loot acquisition, and crafting systems also resonate with Skyrim fans. With Cyberpunk 2077 now boasting a more polished experience, it’s a great time to revisit this title.
Unbound Exploration Awaits inThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (2017)
For those who prioritize pure exploration, Breath of the Wild is an unmissable experience. Released in 2017, it features a meticulously crafted open world filled with dungeons, collectibles, and enemies. Puzzles pepper the landscape, encouraging creative problem-solving with the tools at your disposal. While the story takes a backseat to exploration, it’s a captivating journey nonetheless.
The recently released sequel, Tears of the Kingdom, offers a similar experience with the addition of building mechanics, allowing you to interact with the world in new ways.
The vast open world and abundance of quests in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla make it a compelling choice. Set amidst Vikings inspired by the Nords of Skyrim, Valhalla offers a familiar yet distinct fantasy setting. While some aspects feel overwhelming, players can choose to focus on the main story and engaging side quests, building up their settlement and forging camaraderie along the way.
A Skyrim-Sized Mod: Enderal: Forgotten Stories (2019)
This unique entry blurs the line between game and mod. Originally a massive Skyrim mod released in 2016, Enderal: Forgotten Stories has evolved into a standalone experience.
It features a completely new world, voiced characters, lore, story, and even revamped combat mechanics. The “unconventional” story unfolds within a beautifully crafted world, offering a fresh experience for Skyrim veterans.
This diverse selection offers something for every Skyrim enthusiast. Whether you crave a return to classic RPG mechanics, a fresh take on fantasy, or a deep dive into a unique world, there’s a game here to ignite your sense of adventure. So, grab your gear, sharpen your skills, and prepare to embark on your next epic journey!
Emiliano Martinez once again came up clutch for Argentina as they defeated Ecuador 4-2 on penalties after playing out a 1-1 draw over 90 minutes.
The defending champions have sealed their spot in the semifinals after a tense game, during which they conceded their first goal at this year’s Copa America.
Argentina narrowly defeat Ecuador for Copa America semifinal spot
Lisandro Martinez opened the scoring in the 35th minute after a corner to break the deadlock. And at this point, it would have been easy to assume that the game would tilt in Argentina’s favour for the remainder of the time.
But, Ecuador found their way back into the game and had their best chance through a penalty near the hour mark. Rodrigo De Paul thanked his stars as Enner Valencia hit the post from the spot as the defending champions maintained their lead.
A late goal from Kevin Rodriguez at the very end of the game sent it to penalties. And the biggest surprise of the night followed as Lionel Messi failed to convert his spot kick in the first slot of the shootout.
However, Martinez won it for Argentina by saving Angel Mena and Alan Minda’s shot to add yet another shootout win to his name.
Given that its launch is now just around the corner, it seems to have made quite some noise indeed and we are talking about the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450. Indian enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the bike while motorcycling fans have shown interest in the lights across their country. Specifications of the Guerrilla 450 have been leaked ahead of its hit debut on July 17, 2024, which revealed some interesting specifications.
More About the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450
Adding to its portfolio inspired by the Sherpa 450, Royal Enfield has presented the Guerrilla 450 as a sporty Roadster in the single-cylinder performance motorcycle segment. It should ride on a Himalayan 450 chassis, at least as far as its main frame is concerned, and feature the same Sherpa 450 engine under all that skin but in a lower state of tune to keep weight down.
Unlike the Himalayan 450, it will not feature large touring or off-roading hardware and thus be more compact in size and weight primarily because it is marketed as a Roadster. From leaks, we know the Guerrilla 450 will be smaller and lighter than its adventure counterpart. The Guerrilla 450 is said to be 2,134 mm long, with a width of just 834 mm and it stands at height measures only1,115. That’s 111 mm less in length, 18 mm of a shrinking width, and a total difference of some humongous numbers; as much as the G320 over our Himalayan 450!
In leaked images indicated, the Guerrilla 450 will tip the scales at around 183 kgs which is a bit higher compared to what was forecasted but still considered hefty when put in comparison with its nemesis – the Honda CB300R which weighs only about 146 kg But it is 13 kg less than the Himalayan 450 (leaks suggest that weighs about 196 kg).
In terms of engine specifications, Royal Enfield has tuned the Guerrilla 450’s engine to create a distinct character. Leaked specifications reveal a peak power of 39.52 bhp at 8,000 RPM and a peak torque of 40 Nm at 5,500 RPM, similar to the Himalayan 450.
One of the most intriguing revelations from the leak is the Guerrilla 450’s tire size. While competitors typically offer front tires of 110-section and rear tires of 150-section or smaller, leaks suggest the Guerrilla 450 will feature a 120-section front tire and a 160-section rear tire, akin to higher-end models like the Benelli Leoncino 500 and Kawasaki Z650.
Spy shots from TVC shoots reveal that the base model of the Guerrilla 450 will feature a semi-analog instrument cluster from the Meteor lineup, with an optional Tripper Screen accessory. The top model is expected to include the Tripper Dash from the Himalayan 450. Pricing estimates place the base model competitively, likely around ₹2.3 lakh (Ex-showroom).
FAQs
What distinguishes the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 from its competitors?
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 stands out with its unique blend of a larger 120-section front and 160-section rear tire setup, unlike its rivals which typically offer smaller tires in this segment. This enhances stability and grip, similar to more premium motorcycles.
What are the expected price points for the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450?
While specific pricing details are yet to be confirmed, estimates suggest the base model of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 could be priced around ₹2.3 lakh (Ex-showroom). This positions it competitively against other motorcycles in its class.

Jesse Marsch believes Canada can achieve “something special” as they build toward the 2026 World Cup, starting with their Copa America campaign.
Marsch’s team surprisingly advanced from Group A, finishing behind Argentina and eliminating Chile, who won back-to-back Copa America titles in 2015 and 2016.
In their inaugural Copa America, Canada will now face Group B winners Venezuela for a spot in the last four. Les Rouges are the third team from outside CONMEBOL to reach the knockout stages in their first Copa America appearance, following Mexico (1993) and Honduras (2001).
Looking ahead to the next World Cup, which Canada will co-host with the United States and Mexico, Marsch is optimistic about their potential.
“The sky is the limit,” Marsch said in an interview with FOX Soccer NOW. Reflecting on their challenging pre-tournament friendlies against the Netherlands and France, he joked, “I was thinking, ‘Why did I take this job with those three opponents coming up?‘”
“I knew when I took the job that that the schedule was going to be very difficult, and by the way – put Peru and Chile in there as well – the first five opponents I knew were going to be very difficult.”
“But I thought that it would give us a chance to create really high standards for how we wanted to play and that these games would show the players that we need to uphold ourselves to very high standards. I felt that if we could execute, then we could have some success.”
“There’s real excitement in Canada about the team and the way we’ve played. That comes with, I think, a real hunger to keep this thing moving forward.”
Canada has performed better than their 2026 World Cup co-hosts, the USA, who were eliminated in the group stage.
“I would love to say I’m just focused on what we’re doing here in Canada, but obviously, I’m paying attention, as always, to the U.S. men’s national team and, like you, I’m sad,” Marsch added.
“I’m disappointed by the performances, by the lack of discipline. There’s a lot of things that I think we’ve tried to be about, about the game in the U.S., and we’ve always believed in this group of players.”
“I’ll tell you: I’m glad, I’m here, man. Because the people that I work with and the players that I work with, the things that we know that we can achieve together, the support that we have from inside the country, the support system for this entire national team is so positive, so I think it gives us a real chance to develop something and build something and be ready for a big tournament come 2026.”
Canada will face a tough challenge against Venezuela, who have lost only two of their last 10 matches played in the United States, including friendlies, winning six (D2). La Vinotinto have kept clean sheets in seven of those games (W5 D2), with only Colombia, Italy, and Ecuador managing to score against them.
Canada advanced despite scoring just one goal across their three Group A games. They are the fourth team to progress from the group stage in the Copa America with only one goal to their name, following Mexico in 2001, Uruguay in 2007, and Colombia in 2015.
That solitary goal came from Lille striker Jonathan David, who is Canada’s key attacker. If they are to make it to the last four, David will likely be crucial to their success.
When Venezuela trailed 1-0 to Ecuador late in the first half of their opening game, it seemed they were headed for another early exit.
Instead, an underdog story has emerged, with Venezuela winning all three group matches in this tournament for the first time.

The calming influence of Fernando Batista appears to be exactly what this team needed, as they have shown remarkable composure defensively, conceding just once in their last four matches across all competitions.
If La Vinotinto triumph in their upcoming encounter, they will advance to the semi-finals of this tournament for the first time since 2011.
Their previous two quarter-final appearances at the Copa America resulted in defeats to Argentina, losing 2-0 at this stage in 2019.
Since a 3-1 defeat to Mexico in June 2019, Venezuela are unbeaten in eight consecutive matches against CONCACAF opposition.
Fernando Batista’s team were flawless in the group stage, defeating Ecuador, Mexico, and Jamaica to top Group B.
One more goal will equal Venezuela’s highest scoring tally in a single edition of the tournament, with seven goals in both the 1967 and 2011 tournaments.
Rondón has netted two goals for Venezuela at this tournament.
Only three players have a better xG than Rondón’s 1.98 so far, and the 34-year-old has taken 13 shots, matching the total of the tournament’s leading scorer, Lautaro Martínez.
Additionally, Venezuela are unbeaten in their last four matches against Concacaf teams in this tournament (W3 D1).

Friday will mark only the third meeting between these teams, with the previous two matches ending in draws due to late equalizers by Canada.

Canada: Predicted Lineup
Goalkeeper: Crepeau
Defenders: Johnston, Bombito, Cornelius, Davies
Midfielders: Kone, Eustaquio, Ahmed

Venezuela vs Canada: Match Prediction
Venezuela has been one of the standout teams in the Copa America so far, entering the weekend clash with a three-game winning streak. They are also undefeated in their last five games against CONCACAF opposition and are looking forward to Friday’s match.
In contrast, Canada has won only two of their last seven games across all competitions. Their recent struggles in front of goal could lead to their exit from the tournament on Friday.
We predict a 1-0 victory for Venezuela.

Latest reports citing speculation suggest that the forthcoming iteration of OnePlus’ first foldable, called ‘OnePlus Open 2′, will not come out this year. Others speculated that it wouldn’t arrive until the first quarter of 2025, which would likely put its release alongside Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.
More About the OnePlus Open 2
Anticipated improvements regarding the OnePlus Open 2 that should be in line with a rebranded Oppo Find N5 as per Digital Chat Station, a reputable source on Weibo. Those improvements encompass a next-gen hinge mechanism that will help in bringing weight numbers down, an “ultra-thin” folding glass screen with even less of the visible crease this time around (blobs and all), an upgraded cover display as well a somewhat slimmer profile overall.
The delay may be a disappointment to die-hard fans but could turn out to help the OnePlus Open 2. Targeting a possible early 2025 launch would also mesh well with the likely introduction of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, expected to be announced by late 2024. The change in chipset should bring significant improvements over the age-old specs of its predecessor, hopefully making it more appealing as a competitor in the foldable smartphone space.
OnePlus has been working more closely with Oppo, which belongs to the same parent company BBK Electronics. One of these collaborations is bringing their software development efforts together this year, which will ultimately lead to a single codebase for OxygenOS (OnePlus) and ColorOS (OPPO).
The original OnePlus Open, launched in October 2023 received accolades for its solid construction which included a sturdy hinge and an almost indiscernible crease on the display. Some potential upgrades for the OnePlus Open 2 include IPX8 water resistance, foldable-specific software improvements, and even wireless charging.
To recap, although the delayed launch timeline of OnePlus Open 2 might leave some fans downcast; yet, synergistic collaboration between advanced chipset technology and strategic alliances with Oppo bodes well for major improvements in the next iteration of foldable smartphones by Innovate.
