The Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) tournament concluded with a thrilling display of top-notch gameplay and exciting action. Blind Esports emerged as the winners. Skyesports is India’s leading eSports tournament organizer.
Over 12,000 spectators watched the best BGMI teams in the country compete from November 3 to November 5 for a total prize pool of INR 1.25 crore. AMD served as the event’s gaming partner. The event’s broadcast partner, Loco, the top independent gaming and esports streaming platform in the world, exclusively broadcasted the final in English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The companion smartphone was the Tecno POVA 5 Series.
Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI finale: Blind Esports emerge victorious as over 12,000 people attend the gaming spectacle in Bangalore
Blind Esports won four Winner-Winner Chicken Dinners (WWCD) and accumulated 170 points to take the lead. With 160 points, Revenant Esports took second place, while OR Esports, with 150 points, took third.

One of the youngest players to attend the LAN finals, 16-year-old Rudra “Spower” Banswani of Blind Esports, said, “This trophy is dedicated to them.”
With 137 points, Team Soul took fourth place. Gods Reign, with 133 points, took fifth place, completing the top five. The Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award went to Ritesh “Fierce” Nawandar in recognition of his outstanding performance throughout the three-day championship.

Haris, Honorable Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, attended the high-profile event alongside thousands of gaming enthusiasts and expressed his support for the expansion of Indian Esports by saying, “Seeing so much crowd is very impressive and I can see that so many people are interested.” Bangalore should, in my opinion, have stronger esports infrastructure and become a bustling hub. This was the fifth season of the Skyesports Championship, the longest-running domestic Esports franchise in India. The tournament’s incredible INR 2,12,00,000 prize fund was divided across three Esports championships, including BGMI.
