Marvel did hide Black Widow’s Post Credit Scene from the writes of Hawkeye

In the fourth episode of Hawkeye, we have seen Yelena Belova is on a top-secret mission, so now the mystery behind the writer’s room of Hawkeye is still not cleared.

After the collaboration of Yelena with her sister figure Natasha Romanoff in Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity war, there are such post-credit scenes at the ending that shows Black Widow jumping to just after the sacrifice of Natasha in Avengers: Endgame.

It has been revealed that the shadowy Valentina Allegra de Fontaine has opened about the man who is responsible for the death of Natasha and also providing Yelena with her target: Clint Barton.

In the fourth episode, the coda has connected to Hawkeye from where the vengeful Yelena has been struck just like Clint and protégé Kate Bishop that has been exposed to such criminal conspiracy based on Maya Lopez.

After the head writer of Hawkeye, Jonathan  Lola has pushed for Yelena’s to come back in the Disney+ series. The president of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige for letting him on the secret: Black Widow’s stinger that would be lead directly into such events of Hawkeye.

Lgla told, “ There was a length of time where I was not supposed to share it with the rest of the writing staff. There were a handful of things like that, which was challenging”. She also said, “ I did my best. I like to think that I’m an honest broker and if somebody tells me not to share something, even if I think, ‘Well, the writing staff really needs to know this,’ then I’m just going to trust their [process… I kept it under my hat for a while.”

It is very similar that Marvel did not tell Black Widow screenwriter Eric Pearson what he was setting up while writing the post-credits tag in between Yelena and Val at Natasha’s grave.

Lgla explained, “ I have made the case to Kevin and Lou and Victoria that Yelena had a place in our story and this was the right place for her next chapter. So I think the scene was created for supporting that”, Lgla also says, “ Obviously, the rest of the writing staff knew we were building pitches around her as done as I got the thumbs up”.

Pearson explained that he was just siccing Yelena on a retired Clint Barton who is the former Ronin, in the aftermath of Endgame.  We have seen Val briefly in the Disney+ series the Falcon and the Winter Soldier, just recruiting such disgraced US Agent for the purpose to be revealed.

Pearson has previously told, “ They told me,  and then  at the end, this is the target.” And I was like, ‘What does that mean?’ They were just like, “’Don’t worry about it. You don’t have to know that.” Pearson also says, “ I was like, ‘Who am I screwing over? Something is going on! I don’t have an answer for this. They just were like  ‘ You don’t need to. We are going to figure that out.”

Pearson also added, “ I remember writing it and feeling super guilty. ‘I hope whatever writer is working on this next chapter is going to be  OK with what I’ve done to them”

A big thanks for the source.
