The thrilling BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES 2023 (BGIS) finale, kicked off today with immense fanfare, and enthusiasm at the iconic SVP Stadium in Mumbai. As India’s largest Esports tournament, BGIS 2023 is bigger than ever and promises to be a spectacular showcase of Esports excellence and fierce competition.
BGIS finale kicks off in Mumbai with Revenant Esports taking the lead on Day 1
The inaugural session saw all 16 teams enter the arena amidst spectacular fireworks and overwhelming support from fans. The trophy was revealed, and the stage was set as the reigning champions, and pros prepared to clash with the undergods that have made their way to the biggest ever finale.
Renowned Esports caster, Terence Yong, popularly known as Icybaby12 along with Mazy, Jonny and others added to the fanfare of the event with exhilarating, live commentary. With the finale being broadcast on the KRAFTON INDIA ESPORTS YouTube Channel and JioCinema in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Marathi, Bengali, Mizo, Kannada, Tamil, Gujarati and Telugu, fans across the nations were able to support their favourite teams.
With over 4500 spectators gathered in attendance, Day 1 saw Revenant Esports edge ahead of the competition with 83 points on the scoreboard.
