The episode commenced with an intriguing conversation between Cyrus Broacha, Jad Hadid, and Pooja Bhat. Cyrus inquired about Jad’s early life, and Hadid opened up about his struggles. Touched by his story, Pooja Bhat embraced Jad and complimented him, affirming that he is a genuinely kind person.
The Bigg Boss morning song energized the contestants, and they danced with full enthusiasm. Bebika and Manisha admired Akansha and Palak’s well-maintained bodies, praising their dedication to fitness. Manisha expressed that Akansha and Palak’s fashionable attire reflected their desire to look good on screen.
Avinash took the initiative to apologize to Akansha for his earlier outburst. Palak informed Akansha that Avinash’s apology might not have been genuine, as he overheard their conversation. Nevertheless, Akansha expressed her forgiveness, stating that the apology mattered to her regardless of the intention.
Abhishek, Jad, and Manisha shared light-hearted moments together. Manisha suggested that Jad should address her as “Babu.” Jad playfully agreed but mentioned that he might call Akansha “Babu.” Manisha quickly corrected him, asserting that since she taught him the term, he should reserve it for her. Akansha then jokingly suggested Jad should call her “Jaanu.”
Bigg Boss announced the first captaincy task for Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 and outlined the benefits of being a captain. Since Cyrus and Abhishek were renowned for their content creation outside the house, they were entrusted with assisting in the captaincy selection process. Both Cyrus and Abhishek would collaborate with one housemate each to create content, which would be presented to the audience for voting. The winner would become the captain, alongside their chosen collaborator.
The most anticipated event of the day was the announcement of the first captaincy task. Cyrus and Abhishek took charge of creating video content with their chosen contenders. The contestants had the opportunity to pitch themselves for the task, showcasing their skills through skits. Viewers were given the power to vote for their preferred candidate for the coveted role of the first captain in the Bigg Boss OTT house. Akanksha partnered with Abhishek, while Falaq teamed up with Cyrus, making them the two contenders for the captaincy.
The contestants began their individual campaigns to convince Cyrus and Abhishek to select them as potential captains. Manisha flirted with Jad, affectionately referring to him as the “Bihar ka Damaad.”
Bigg Boss instructed Abhishek and Cyrus to name two contestants each with whom they would create the content for the captaincy task. Abhishek chose Akansha, while Cyrus selected Falak. They were then directed to commence their preparations.
Bebika and Manisha engaged in a discussion about who should become the next captain. Bebika expressed her belief that Falak should assume the captaincy role, stating that Akansha seemed overly prepared for the show.
Both Cyrus and Abhishek presented their content pieces with the assistance of Akansha and Falak. Jad expressed his displeasure to Akansha, indicating that he didn’t appreciate being mocked during their act. Akansha reassured him that it was all in good fun and hugged him, attempting to alleviate his concerns.
Manisha entertained the housemates by pretending to be intoxicated, leading to laughter throughout the house. Pooja confided her insecurities to Bebika, sharing how she had overcome her drinking issues after her father advised her to love herself. Pooja regarded it as a wake-up call and decided to quit drinking. She also revealed some reasons behind her divorce.
Bebika and Manisha playfully pleaded with Bigg Boss to send handsome boys as wild card contestants. Bigg Boss then revealed the results of the audience’s vote, declaring Cyrus as the winner and Falak as the first captain of Bigg Boss OTT Season 2. Cyrus was granted the privilege of choosing his preferred ration, exclusively for his personal use.
Akansha and Palak comforted an upset Jad, assuring him that he was undoubtedly winning the hearts of the audience outside.
