Bigg Boss Malayalam 8: Gautham Sasi’s Shock Exit Plan Rattles the House Days After Premiere

Just days into its run, Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8 is already delivering the kind of drama fans tune in for — only this time, it’s not a fight over chores or a strategic alliance. It’s a contestant openly admitting he wants out. Gautham Sasi has revealed he’s seriously considering quitting the Mohanlal-hosted reality show, and the confession has sent the house — and viewers — into a frenzy.

What Actually Happened

In a candid moment caught on camera, Gautham opened up to fellow contestant Wikky about how difficult he’s finding life inside the house. He admitted the environment was wearing him down and that walking away from the competition was now a real possibility for him. The conversation, however, wasn’t meant to be public — it was overheard by housemate Kadal Komban, sparking an unexpected confrontation between Komban and Wikky over the leaked confession.

Bigg Boss Steps In

The tension escalated enough that Bigg Boss summoned both Komban and Wikky to the confession room to address what had unfolded. During this segment, Gautham clarified something important: his desire to leave wasn’t rooted in anger or a fallout with any housemate. He explained that he’d entered the show hoping to entertain both his co-contestants and the audience, but the day-to-day experience inside the house had proven far tougher to adjust to than he expected.

Will the Makers Let Him Go?

That’s the big unanswered question. Gautham himself acknowledged that leaving would mean giving up a significant opportunity, which suggests this isn’t a decision he’s taking lightly. As of now, the production team hasn’t confirmed whether his request will be granted. All eyes are now on the upcoming weekend episode, where Mohanlal is expected to return and possibly address the growing house tensions directly.

Why This Story Has Legs

Early exits — real or rumored — tend to dominate Bigg Boss conversations because they shift the entire power dynamic of the house. If Gautham does walk, expect ripple effects among alliances and a noticeably different tone heading into the show’s next phase.
