The trailer for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was dropped on Wednesday on YouTube, and fans of the franchise were taken by delightful surprise when they saw Madhuri Dixit in the video. Kartik Aaryan will be seen as Rooh Baba in this part and Vidya Balan is making a comeback to the franchise, playing Manjulika – her character from the first film.

In the trailer, Kartik is called to a royal house where a family tries to solve the mystery horror of their home. It also features Triptii Dimri as Kartik’s partner and for comic relief, Sanjay Mishra and Rajpal Yadav return back in their comedy roles in a horror setting.
Both Vidya and Madhuri appear to portray Manjulika, suggesting that uncovering “Who is Manjulika?” will be the film’s climax. On August 25, a trailer of Bhool Bhulaiyaa was in Jaipur, Rajasthan started the promotion. The whole episode unfolded at the legendary Raj Mandir Cinema and had fans swamping in to get a glimpse of both.

Before the trailer’s release, director Anees Bazmee promised to elevate the horror-comedy genre with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, building on the franchise’s previous successes. “This project is very close to my heart. We’ve pushed the boundaries of the horror-comedy genre to deliver something fresh and entertaining,” Bazmee stated in an interview with ANI.
Despite suffering a leg injury shortly before filming began, Bazmee showcased his commitment to the project. “I shot the film while sitting on one leg. The injury happened just a week or ten days prior to production,” he explained. Although doctors advised him to rest for four to six months, Bazmee opted to continue shooting to meet the Diwali release date. “Delaying the shoot would have meant missing the date,” he remarked.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar & Murad Khetani is scheduled to hit cinemas on Diwali 1st Nov, 2024. The film also brings back the much-loved Vidya Balan reprising her iconic role from the 2007 blockbuster. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on the flip side will clash with Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, which will see Ajay Devgn alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar in a box office battle.
