BGMI news update: Latest news update from the Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI eSports event

The two-day Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI Quarterfinals concluded with the top four teams earning a spot in the event’s Semifinals. On October 13 and 14, the Qualifier’s top four lineups and 20 invited squads competed in 12 matches. These early stages were not streamed live on any platforms.

The Semifinals will be held from October 17 to 21, with the top four teams from the BGMI Quarterfinals meeting 20 more invited teams. Notable participants in this stage are Team Soul, GodLike, Blind, and GodLike, who have been immediately invited to the Grand Finals.

After putting on amazing efforts throughout their eight matches, Team Tamilas took first place. They earned three Chicken Dinners and 123 points. With three victories, WSB Gaming has 103 points to their advantage.

Team Empire the underdog of the BGMI event Ranks 3rd

Despite not having a single victory, Team Empire had astonishing consistency in their games and managed to finish in third place with 100 points. This underdog squad had also won everyone over early in the BGIS 2023, a recognized BGMI event. With two Chicken Dinners and 96 points, Celsius Esports finished fourth. For the Semifinals, these top four lineups are preparing.

Despite having several strong performances and scoring 93 points, Team Psyche was not given a place in the following round. A well-known Indian group called Global Esports almost missed qualifying for the Semifinals by only four points. With 89 points, they placed sixth.

One Chicken Dinner and 87 points were awarded to Glitchx Reborn. The Grand Finals of the BGIS 2023 are currently being contested by this underdog lineup.

The Gujarat Tigers and Revenge Esports both scored 82 points in the BGMI Quarterfinals. Owais’ Enigma Gaming team finished 10th with 73 points but was unable to advance to the Semifinals. Team 8Bit scored 66 points to finish in 11th place.

The BGMI Quarterfinals were a dismal failure for Team Mayavi. only accumulating 22 points after eight games. Growing Strong and Night Owls, two recently popular teams, both struggled in their games and finished in the bottom two spots.

The top two teams (Team Tamilas and WSB) from the Quarterfinals have been seeded into Group A of the Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI Semifinals, while the third-placed team (Empire) has been put into Group B. Celsius, who finished fourth overall, will play in Group C.
