The Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI): Naye Khiladi tournament, organized by South Asian esports company NODWIN Gaming (https://nodwingaming.com/) and powered by KRAFTON India Esports, has entered its semifinal stage. Following a qualification process involving thousands of participants, the top 32 teams are now set to compete from July 18 to July 21.

The tournament, designed to identify and develop new esports talent, features a prize pool of INR 10 lakh. Teams will vie for a position in the Grand Finals and the BGMI: Naye Khiladi title.

Tournament Structure and Progression

The qualification phase commenced with over 8,000 registered competitors utilizing BGMI’s in-game system. This initial pool was narrowed to 1,024 teams based on their performance in Classic Ranked matches. These teams then advanced through two rounds of group-stage competition:

Round 1: 1,024 teams competed across 64 groups.
Round 2: 256 teams battled across 16 groups.

From these rounds, the top two teams from each group progressed, reducing the field to the current 32 semifinalist teams.

Semifinals Overview

The 32 remaining teams have been divided into four groups of eight:

Group A: HEXVORA, Team Obsidian, Team H4K, Autobotz Esports, ESPORT SOCIAL, SUSPICIOUS7H, TEAM ASCEND, and iQOO8BIT.
Group B: Aura X Esports, Troy Tamilan Esports, Oishani Esports, 7Gods Esports, OR OFFICIAL, TEAM ACS, TeamRedXross, and TEAM ERA ESPORTS.
Group C: Raspators Esports, DCxSCR Esports, JMS ESPORTS, WINDGOD ESPORTS, REIGNITE ESPORTS, Lords Official, 4 MECHANICAL GODS, and Team Free Agents.
Group D: WHITE RAVEN, BLD Esports, Zero Ark Official, K9Esports, Prominence Esports, X4RCE, THUNDER GODS ESPORTS, and Santa Godsent.

Over four days, from July 18–21, each team will participate in six matches daily. The two highest-ranking teams from each group will advance to the Grand Finals, which will feature a total of 16 teams.

Broadcast Information and Leadership Perspective

All semifinal matches will be broadcast live, allowing audiences to follow the competition as it unfolds.
