“Between Steps” Is Stealing Hearts, One Quiet Moment at a Time

Some dramas shout for attention. Others win you over with small gestures, like a goofy headband worn for someone you care about. ENA’s “Between Steps” belongs firmly in the second group, and its latest photos are making fans swoon.

Mild spoiler warning: this post mentions a scene from recent episodes.

What the Drama Is About Between Steps?

“Between Steps” is a romance from the late director Ahn Pan Seok, known for Something in the Rain, One Spring Night, and The Midnight Romance in Hagwon. It follows two people at a turning point:

• Park Min Jae (Choo Young Woo): a former swimmer who lost his right leg to illness
• Im Yoo Jin (Kim So Hyun): a graduate student who finds a new path after losing her way

Between Steps: Overview

The New Stills

The newly released photos from recent episodes show the pair sharing a kiss in a dark alleyway at night. Another image shows Min Jae wearing a puppy-ear headband, something he wouldn’t normally agree to. He goes along with it for Yoo Jin, which says a lot about how she’s changing him. Meanwhile, her fond smile shows her feelings deepening too.

What the Team Is Teasing?

The production team says the story of these young people, each dealing with their own wounds, will “unfold in earnest.” Expect more emotional choices ahead, plus personal growth on both sides.

Why It’s Worth Watching?

The drama is getting attention on the charts too, ranking No. 2 on this week’s buzzworthy list, with both leads in the actor top five. Fans of gentle, character-driven romance should add it to their list. For more on the lead actress, see Kim So-hyun on Wikipedia.
