Beats has released its new Beats Studio Pro over-ear headphones, which include significant upgrades in terms of sound quality as well as some hardware changes. The most recent edition includes the most recent internals and competes well with Apple’s higher-end AirPods Max. The Beats Studio Pro arrives nearly 15 years after the original model that popularised the Beats brand was debuted.

The updated Beats Studio Pro has a lot going for it, and it will be a difficult option if you also want Apple’s AirPods Max.

While the design is essentially comparable to the original, the performance and sound quality have been significantly enhanced. Furthermore, the corporation has improved durability and comfort through greater connectivity, among other things.

In terms of sound quality, the latest Beats Studio Pro is equipped with the majority of Apple’s components and technologies. The headphones provide compatibility for Apple’s Personalised Spatial Audio feature, as well as a built-in motion accelerometer. It also has a gyroscope for dynamic head tracking, adaptive ANC, and many other features. The microphone has also been improved over the original. It also has a bespoke 40mm driver and a patented transducer design for lesser distortions and stutters.

In terms of connectivity, the Beats Studio Pro has three options: Class 1 Bluetooth, USB-C for lossless audio, and.5mm analogue. There are alternatives for various situations; for example, a 3.5mm connection will allow the headphones to connect to controllers and in-flight music systems. The Beats Pro may switch between audio profiles that tune to the scene through USB-C.

The design is very similar to other Beats headphones you’ve used. It has a folding design for easy transportation, a cushioned headband and padded earcups for enhanced comfort. The improved leather UltraPlush earcups. Externally, the plastic design, which is lighter than Apple’s AirPods Max, keeps the weight down. However, the usage of plastic gives it a less quality look and feel when compared to the AirPods Max. The Beats will be sweat resistant, but there is no official water resistance certification.

The new Beats Studio Pro costs $349.99, or $200 less than Apple’s AirPods Max.
