The BCCI has recently announced an equal pay policy for the contracted players of the national women’s cricket team. They will now have the opportunity to get equal pay as the male cricketers. The match fee for the male and female cricketers will be the same.

The New Zealand Cricket Board (NZC) applied this rule for the first time as they also decided to pay female cricketers equally to male cricketers. The annual contract amount is not having any edits but the match fee for the male and female cricketers will be equal in every format of cricket.
