Adapt and overcome dynamically-changing battlegrounds with the help of your squad in Battlefield 2042, this Free Play Days weekend. Marking a return to the iconic all-out warfare the franchise is known for, take on several experiences with support for up to 128 players on the Series X|S. And if you are up for the challenge, try your best in Battlefield Hazard Zone, a tense squad-focused survival experience where every bullet counts and every decision matters.

Star Renegades

Fight for survival against the invading Imperium this weekend when Star Renegades comes to Free Play Days. In a tactical turn-based battle system that emphasizes interrupts and counters,  learn new fighting techniques against an evolving enemy and pass the knowledge down to the next group of heroes to give them a chance at prevailing. Unlock dozens of alternate characters and survive the relentless onslaught of an Intelligent Adversary system that generates unique enemies and bosses as you play.

Both games will be available for free until midnight on Sunday. Battlefield 2042 is presently 33% discounted on the Microsoft Store if you want to add it to your collection permanently.

Battlefield 2042 is now available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 (PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5). Star Renegades is available on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Switch, as well as Xbox Series X/S and PS5 via backward compatibility.

Just put in on gamepass, no trials. The games a flop, no one is really down to pay for it. It’s a multiplayer only game, I could understand paying if had a story too, but come on. It’s sad when CoD is actually this far ahead. Gamepass would bring in more players. I’m not paying 79$ dollars (cdn) for a game not worth the cost. I’d rather get the new pokemon game for that price.
