Ayaneo, a handheld gaming device expert, has completed the development of its highly anticipated portable device, the Ayaneo Slide. According to the company’s Discord channel, the device is now in trial production.
The new slider mechanism, which reveals a tactile keyboard, is one of its most notable characteristics. While previous handheld PCs with a similar architecture have existed, the gaming company claims that its gadget is the first to include an RGB backlit keyboard. The new handheld device will include an AMD Phoenix processor which will most likely be the Ryzen 7 7840U processor.
The Ayaneo Slide also has an improved AYASpace 2 UI with full keyboard functionality. The joysticks are also encircled by RGB backlight making it more attractive.
While specifics on RAM, storage quotas, and pricing are yet to be published, Ayaneo has promised that more information would be shared soon. The company will also be soon starting is prehas also stated that it is planning “surprise pre-orders” and -orders.
The finalised Ayaneo Slide design has a black and white colour scheme, as shown in the accompanying photos. Earlier photos and videos may not exactly reflect the device’s shipment design.
This new portable gadget will run Windows 11, and its direct competiors will be established players like the Steam Deck and ROG Ally.
