ATK Mohun Bagan 4-0 Basundhara Kings
Liston Colaco scored a hat-trick at the Salt Lake Stadium as his team cruised to a 4-0 win against Bangladesh’s Basundhara Kings in their group D game. The winger had to wait for the storm to pass before he could start scoring, and eventually, he did so thrice in the game.
David Williams, who recently signed for Mumbai City FC, came on as a substitute for Juan Ferrando’s side and scored the other goal. ATK Mohun Bagan’s defense looked much more composed as they defeated Kings to keep their hopes of making it to the top of the table alive.
Maziya Sports 1-0 Gokulam Kerala
The win for Maziya Sports in their game against Gokulam has blown the group wide open. Every team in the group has three points each, and has equal chances of making it to the next round of the competition as a result.
Cornelius Stewart scored the only goal of the game shortly after half time, as his side held on to the lead until the end of the 90 to earn all three points.
Maziya Sports will be facing ATK Mohun Bagan in their last game, while Basundhara Kings will be facing Gokulam Kerala in their last group stage game for a chance at qualification.
