The Asus ROG Strix SCAR 17 (G732) is a thin and light gaming laptop series known for its high refresh rate display and powerful hardware, all crammed within a low profile form factor. In 2019, we already have seen it in action and now the OEM has updated it with the latest Comet Lake-H gaming CPUs and NVIDIA RTX Super GPUs.
So you can now configure the laptop with up to the 8 core / 16 threaded Intel Core i9-10980HK along with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super. Obviously both of these make a deadly combo for gaming with high frame rates at any resolution and also it is handy for creative purposes as well.
Asus offers a 17.3-inch display up to 300 Hz refresh rate and an ultra-low 3 ms response time, eSports and high-end gamers will obviously get an extra edge while gaming on this laptop. Asus is also giving three M.2 slots with dual NVMe SSDs in RAID 0 configuration that even reduces loading speeds and make the laptop ultra-fast.

The Asus ROG Boost feature boosts the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER variant of the Asus ROG Strix SCAR 17 to 1540 Hz at 115 W and the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER edition to 1560 MHz at 150 W. The high-end model with RTX 2080 SUPER mobile GPU also comes with a cooling solution sporting four heatsinks and six heat pipes.
The Asus ROG Strix SCAR 17 with RTX 2080 SUPER is only 1.5 mm thicker than the standard model and also there’s per-key RGB lighting and a wrap-around light bar to help make your presence known.
Also, Asus has included a new NFC-enabled Keystone II which will also be part of the package for enabling immediate customization and this strong gaming laptop will be available at a price starting from €1,899 ($2,121) and the availability remains still unclear.
