Asus is set to launch new ROG Strix gaming laptops in India next month and has revealed the pre-booking date for the upcoming models. As per the teaser from the company, these laptops will be equipped with Nvidia GeForce RTX 5000 series GPUs that consist of the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070.
The new lot includes the previously launched ROG Strix G16 (2025) and ROG Strix G18 (2025) that were announced by the company in January in select markets (overnight here in India) with up to RTX 5080 GPUs.

The teaser, shared on X (previously known as Twitter), also reveals pre-booking of the laptops will start on May 2 in India. It teases that the new line-up will include the ROG Strix G16 (2025) and ROG Strix G18 (2025), which were announced at CES 2025 in January. The ROG Strix G16 (2025) and ROG Strix G18 (2025) ship with 16-inch and 18-inch 2.5K (2,560×1,440 pixels) IPS LCD displays that come with 100% DCI:P3 color gamut support.
They are based on either Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 275HX or AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processors, coupled with up to 32GB of DDR5 Memory. These laptops have Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 GPUs with up to 16GB of VRAM and up to 2TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage.
Both models also pack a 90Wh battery. For connectivity, the ROG Strix G16 (2025) and ROG Strix G18 (2025) come with two Thunderbolt 5 ports, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a 2.5G Ethernet port. The Intel variants support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, while the AMD versions support Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
