Asus ROG Phone 9 will be made official later this week and before the launch, details of the device appeared on the Geekbench ML online database. After Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset last month, Asus teased that this flagship SoC will be used in the ROG Phone 9. As per the Geekbench ML listing, it is expected to come with 24GB of RAM, Android 15 out of the box, and a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

A listing of the ASUSAI250E model appeared on November 8, and it was reported by MySmartPrice. The third Geekbench test involved testing the machine-learning capabilities of the ROG Phone 9. It scored a rather impressive score of 1,812 points in the Core ML Neural Engine Interference test, which evaluates how well a phone’s processor can run efficiently running neural network-based models.
On the processor front, the device is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite which is an octa-core chipset with a peak CPU core clock speed of up to 4.32GHz and base frequency of 3.53GHz. During a virtual “AI On, Game On” event, Asus announced that the ROG Phone 9 will be unveiled on November 19. Even going by the event name, the phone would get gaming solutions powered by AI statements with ROG Phone after all it comes to providing an optimized mobile gaming experience.
The ROG Phone 9 is said to come with a Samsung Flexible LTPO AMOLED display with a size of 6.78-inches full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) resolution offering up to a 120Hz refresh rate and it will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus, It is also touted to include a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 700 primary sensor, along with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The phone is also said to feature a 5,800mAh battery with 65W wired charging and wireless charging.
