ASUS just walked back into the tablet game — and it’s not doing it quietly. The new ASUS Pad brings a dazzling OLED screen, a featherlight body, and all-day battery life to a category the brand hasn’t touched in India for a while.

What Is the ASUS Pad?

The ASUS Pad is an Android tablet built around a 12.2-inch 2.8K dual-layer OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 2,000 nits peak brightness — bright enough for outdoor viewing. It’s designed for entertainment, creativity, and productivity, backed by quad speakers with Dolby Atmos 360° Cinematic Sound for a theatre-like audio experience.

When Does It Launch?

The ASUS Pad launches in India on August 6 at 12:00 noon, available exclusively online on Flipkart and the ASUS eShop, and offline via ASUS & ROG Stores, Reliance Digital, and authorized retail partners. Pricing will be revealed closer to launch.

It supports the ASUS Pen 2.0 and Bluetooth keyboards for note-taking and creative work, while GlideX enables seamless file sharing across Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices — a growing priority as tablet computers increasingly double as lightweight productivity tools rather than just entertainment devices.
