At CES 2023, ASUS plans to introduce its next-generation GeForce RTX 40 Noctua Edition graphics cards. According to nApoleon, the head editor of Chiphell, ASUS will debut its next-generation graphics cards designed in conjunction with Noctua at CES 2023. While the actual graphics cards are not specified, we should expect to see the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080, or both during the event.
It is also stated that Noctua and ASUS have enhanced the design and will deliver a more sleek and premium look, as well as significantly improved cooling capabilities and extremely silent operation.
ASUS introduced two GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards based on the innovative Noctua cooling system during the previous generation.
The GeForce RTX 3080 and GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition graphics cards used a large quad-slot cooling arrangement and a pair of Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM Fans. These fans are among the best that Noctua has to offer, with low-noise operation and outstanding cooling.
With the arrival of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 40 AIB cards, quad-slot coolers have become the norm, and a Noctua cooler makes more sense than ever. It will be fascinating to see if ASUS opts for a dual-fan cooler like the current generation or a gigantic triple-fan cooler that will result in some incredible temps.
The card will also have a bespoke PCB design that includes 16-Pin 12VHPWR connections. When it comes to cost, ASUS’s Noctua edition graphics cards are among the most expensive AIB cards for the RTX 30 and RTX 40 series graphics cards. ASUS is expected to unveil the GeForce RTX 40 Noctua Edition cards at CES 2023.
