Program Structure and Skill Development
The initiative is designed with a structured, curriculum-led approach, establishing computer labs equipped with ASUS Vivobooks (https://www.asus.com/in/) to facilitate learning. A weekly learning framework introduces participants to a range of digital competencies, from foundational skills like MS Office tools to programming languages such as Scratch and Python. The curriculum also covers digital safety and emerging areas, including AI literacy, aiming to equip beneficiaries for an increasingly digital landscape. Average attendance across centers has been reported at over 82%, indicating consistent engagement.

Focus on Employability and Real-World Outcomes
A primary objective of the program is to enhance employability among youth. Through modules focusing on communication, job readiness, and technical skills, several participants have transitioned into entry-level roles within the retail and service sectors.
Examples provided include Krish Jha, a Class 10 student, who gained exposure to digital tools and AI concepts, enhancing his confidence in navigating digital platforms. Mamta Lamani and Kirti Rathod from Goa utilized their basic computing and MS Office training to secure cashier positions at DMart while continuing their education. Rupali Prajapati in Mumbai completed courses in Basic IT and Tally, subsequently securing an accountant role with a monthly salary of ₹23,000. These cases highlight the initiative’s goal of creating tangible pathways from learning to livelihood.
Eric Ou, South Asia Regional Director for ASUS, commented on the milestone, stating, “Over the past year, ASUS India has provided structured access to digital learning for communities with limited prior exposure to technology. The progress observed, both in scale and individual outcomes, underscores the importance of sustained, on-ground interventions.”
Looking ahead, ASUS India plans to expand the initiative’s reach, reinforce curriculum delivery, and strengthen the connections between digital education and employment opportunities. For more on such industry developments, visit TechnoSports(https://technosports.co.in/).
