ASRock DeskMini PC arrives with the only compatibility for AMD CPUs

ASRock is yet again introducing a new mini PC barebone system called the DeskMini Max. and this one is larger than its previous models. The new DeskMini Max features a semi-custom 10-liter case that can be fitted with liquid cooling and a graphics card. however, the mini PC only supports AMD processors, not that I complain about.

The machine comes with an AM4 motherboard which supports Ryzen CPUs or APUs with up to 105 W TDP ranging from the new 5000-series down to the 2000-series. The mini PC support up to 128 GB of RAM through 4x U-DIMMs and the storage side supports 2x SATA plus 1x M.2 NVMe SSD configurations.

It contains various ports including triple video outputs through DP, HDMI, and D-Sub connectors, and there are also 4x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, and 4x USB 2.0 connectors. The device also features a GbE NIC with a jack and a free M.2 slot for Wi-Fi 6 + BT modules.

It’s not news that the ASRock Mini PCs are considered to be the best in business and to add fuel to the fire, the new ASRock DeskMini Max includes a 500 W 80 Plus bronze certified PSU with customized cable length. However, for now, there is no name and model number are provided. Since the device is highly customizable, users will probably replace it with something better and equip the system with a more powerful processor+dGPU combo. The company has not offered any details about the price or the availability of the device.
