The Bollywood landscape is currently abuzz with excitement as two new releases, “Article 370” and “Crakk”, battle it out at the box office. The former, starring Yami Gautam, is up against Vidyut Jamwal’s action-packed thriller “Crakk”. Despite stiff competition, “Article 370” has managed to hold its own, surpassing “Crakk” on Day 2.

Released on February 23, both films have had their fair share of anticipation and hype. However, “Article 370“, directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and based on the PMO’s decision to revoke the special status granted to Jammu and Kashmir, seems to have struck a chord with audiences.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, “Article 370” has collected a whopping ₹13.4 crore net within its first two days in theatres. On its opening day, the film brought in ₹5.9 crore net, while Day 2 saw a significant jump, amassing ₹7.5 crore net – a remarkable increase of 27.12% from the previous day’s collection.
In contrast, “Crakk” managed to gross ₹2.75 crore on its second day, trailing behind “Article 370” in the box office race. On the global front, the Yami Gautam starrer movie has also made its mark. On its first day alone, the film raked in ₹2 crore in the overseas market and ₹6.6 crore gross in the domestic market. This takes the worldwide box office collection to an estimated ₹8.6 crore, showcasing the film’s international appeal.
As the week progresses, it will be interesting to see how these numbers fluctuate. But for now, “Article 370” is enjoying a successful run, resonating with both domestic and international audiences, also thanks to good reviews for the film, it is estimated to do well at the box office.
