Juventus have had a meeting with Arsenal and the agent of Arthur Melo for a potential move for the player. And according to Fabrizio Romano, the Italian club have asked for a concrete offer.

In order for Arthur to leave the club, Arsenal will need to sign him on an initial loan deal of 18 months with the option to buy the player later.

Although Arthur is keen on joining Arsenal within the coming days, there is no agreement between the two clubs as of yet. And unless they come to a mutual agreement about the transfer, he will be staying in Turin until the end of the season.

Since joining the Bianconeri in exchange for Miralem Pjanic from Barcelona, Arthur has been in and out of the first team. He has failed to lock down a starting spot and as a result, has been linked with a move away.

This season, the Brazilian has made 14 appearances for Juventus across all competitions. He also has a contract until 2025, and will have to be sold later on if he is unable to be a part of the first team under Max Allegri.
