Arsenal will face Manchester City in what could truly be a title decider in the Premier League this season. The Gunners come in on the back of three draws, while City have built a decent amount of momentum with their winning run for the last few games.
Mikel Arteta’s side are currently at the top of the table, but they have played two more games and only have a narrow lead of five points. If City win all their remaining games, then they will be the league winners once again. But, it will not be easy considering the standard of competition that has been on display this season.
Arsenal vs Manchester City: Premier League title decider preview
The North London side will be without one of their best central defenders in William Saliba. The centre-back has been sidelined for the game, and Rob Holding will possibly be the man to replace him.
Most of their other first-choice options are fit and are expected to play. The same can be said for Manchester City, with Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Ruben Dias all available.
But given that Pep Guardiola has finally become more flexible in his tactical approach, it is anybody’s guess as to what he comes up with. The last time the two teams met, City were comfortable having less possession. But they were able to punish their opponents nonetheless.
Even a draw would maintain Arsenal’s chances of winning the title, but the pressure is on like never before on the fiery young team.
