Arsenal to renew 3 important first-team contracts in the coming weeks

Arsenal have the youngest squad in the Premier League with an average age of 24.7 years. And with their hungry and young squad, they have been able to claim the top spot in the league ahead of Manchester City.

The North London side want to tie down their talented youngsters for the coming years, and are preparing to offer them new deals. Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba are the three priorities for the club right now.

Arsenal preparing three new contracts for vital youngsters

Gabriel Martinelli has been one of the standout performers for the team on the wings alongside Bukayo Saka. The Brazilian is expected to sign a new deal, even though there is an option to extend his current deal until 2026. Better terms that reflect his contributions on the pitch could be the main reason for this.

Bukayo Saka, on the other hand, was sensational for England in the World Cup. He was named in the L’Equipe team of the tournament for his performances, as England made it to the semifinals of the competition.

Although William Saliba didn’t enjoy a prominent role in France’s World Cup campaign, he has been a rock at the back for Mikel Arteta. After returning from loan last season at Marseille, the Frenchman has been phenomenal in the Premier League and he is viewed as a very important part for Arsenal’s project down the line.

As a result, new deals for all three players will be negotiated in the coming weeks.
