Arsenal are rumoured to be the opponents of the MLS All-Stars this summer, in the annual exhibition match. The game will be held on July 19, and will be played at DC United’s home ground, the Audi Field Stadium.
Previously, the best players from the US league faced off against the best from Liga MX in Mexico. But that has been replaced by a match against one of the big European clubs.
The All-Stars team will be managed by Wayne Rooney, continuing the tradition of the home team’s manager taking charge. This will be the second time that Arsenal make their way to the United States to face the MLS All-Stars. The last time they did so was in 2016, when they won 2-1 under the leadership of Arsene Wenger.

Some people at a fan event said that Wayne Rooney himself confirmed the arrival of Arsenal for the All-Stars. However, no official announcement has been made for the match as of yet.
Arsenal currently lead the Premier League table with 69 points, eight ahead of defending champions Manchester City. They are en route to winning their first league title since the time of the Invincibles in 2003/04, and have been in sensational form all season.
