Real Madrid won the race to sign Arda Güler from Fenerbahce. The prolific youngster had concrete interest from Barcelona as well, but they did not make a formal offer to sign the midfielder.
The final offer from Los Blancos is worth in excess of €20 million including taxes and bonuses. Güler has accepted the proposal put forth by the Spanish giants, and Fenerbahce have accepted the proposal put forward by the Spanish giants for their star midfielder.

Alongside Real Madrid and Barcelona, AC Milan, Arsenal and Chelsea had also registered their interest in signing the youngster. But only Madrid have put forth a formal offer to sign him and are now in the front seat to get his signature.
A sell-on clause worth €20% has also been offered to Fenerbahce so that they are entitled to a percentage of any future fee. The negotiations between the two clubs took place swiftly, and there were never any major stumbling blocks in getting the deal over the line.
Florentino Perez earlier confirmed that there will be no further incomings for Real Madrid after they signed Jude Bellingham, Joselu Mato and welcomed back Brahim Diaz from his loan spell. But, Arda Güler is expected to join the squad right away, and will be expected to have more game time once veterans like Luka Modric and Toni Kroos are fully phased out.
