As we already know that Apple is planning to significantly increase its production of mini-LED displays next year. The company will also launch its new iPad models, all with the mini-LED display.

The future devices of Apple will all be sporting the new mini-LED technology. Sources indicate that the two MacBook Pro models with mini-LED displays and Apple Silicon chip are reported to launch next year, while a redesigned MacBook Air with mini-LED and Apple Silicon may launch in 2022. Apple’s MacBook Air is expected to be an “affordable model,” whereas the MacBook Pro models will come with an “all-new form factor.”

Analysts predict that Apple will ship up to 10-12 million mini-LED devices next year and 25-28 million mini-LED devices in 2022. According to sources, Epistar will be the sole supplier of mini-LED displays for Apple. The company is optimistic with its mini-LED display roadmap and expects to release its models with the display technology by next year. Analysts expect that MacBook shipment to grow by 100 percent, with up to 35 million units per year.
