Apple is rumored to launch its new Touchscreen MacBook Pro by 2025

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, technology behemoth Apple is working on bringing touchscreen functionality to Macs. According to the report, the company is finally working on a Macbook Pro line of laptops with a touchscreen OLED display after years of speculation and resistance and the release date is expected to be in 2025.

If Apple were to release a touch-screen MacBook, it would be a significant departure from the company’s current line of laptops. Apple came the closest to including a touchscreen on a Macbook when it introduced the now-defunct touch bar on the Mackbook Pro lineup in 2016.

A touchscreen MacBook would almost certainly support multi-touch gestures like pinch-to-zoom and swipe, which are popular on smartphones and tablets.

One of the primary benefits of a touchscreen MacBook would be the ability to use touch-based apps and programmes more easily and intuitively, such as drawing and painting software.

A touchscreen would also provide more flexibility in how users interact with their laptops, allowing them to navigate menus and perform tasks with their fingers rather than relying solely on a trackpad or mouse.

Another advantage is the device’s ability to function as a tablet. Users could detach the keyboard and use the device as a tablet with the touch screen, which could be useful for taking notes, drawing, and other tasks that are more comfortable with a touch interface.

Overall, a touchscreen MacBook would provide a new and innovative way to interact with a computer, but it would also introduce new challenges and drawbacks. It will be interesting to see how Apple approaches the design and engineering of such a device, as well as how consumers react to it.
