When Apple lowered the price of its Pro models for the first time, experts saw a big change. This modification comes after the most recent budget reduced the baseline customs charge on mobile phones from 20% to 15%. Apple has revealed that all of its iPhone models will now be significantly less expensive in India. This comes after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman declared in the Union Budget 2024 that basic customs duty on consumer gadgets would be lowered.

The price reduction of ₹5,100 to ₹6,000 will take effect immediately for the iPhone Pro and Pro Max versions. In the meantime, ₹300 has been taken off the price of the iPhone 13, 14, and 15 models, while ₹2,300 has been significantly lowered for the iPhone SE.
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max had initial prices of Rs 1,34,900 and Rs 1,59,900, respectively. At Rs 1,29,800 and Rs 1,54,000, respectively, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are presently available for purchase. There has been a reduction in price of Rs 5,100 and Rs 5,900 for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, respectively.
Nevertheless, online merchants are offering these versions for even less money. For instance, the iPhone 14 (128GB) costs ₹59,999 on Flipkart, while the iPhone 15 (128GB) costs ₹71,999.
For the “vanilla” iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models, there has been a somewhat large price drop. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are now available for just Rs 79,600 and Rs 89,600, respectively, after a mere Rs 300 price decrease.
