We all know that some time ago, Apple discontinued its older line of iMacs and announced that it will be releasing the new iMacs soon. Since then the hype about the upcoming iMacs has been sky high, and the reason for that is the fact that the new iMacs will get a shiny new chipset and come with some unseen form factors.

According to some recent leaks by the veteran Apple leaker, L0ve2dream, we are hearing that the Cupertino giant could launch the aforementioned iMacs at its April 20 Spring Loaded event. However, other sources such as Bloomberg states that Apple will launch only iPads and AirTags at the event.

Some sources also indicate that the new iMac is in line for the release but there isn’t any confirmation as to whether it’ll be launched alongside the new iPads. Similar to its predecessors, the upcoming iPad Pro models are expected to run a modified version of the A14 Bionic. That could be the only new piece of Apple Silicon we’ll be seeing at the event.

However, unlike a modified A14 Bionic chipset, the new iMacs will be sporting a beefed-up version of the M1, tentatively called the M1X. but if we are going with the tradition then for the launch of such a wonderful and powerful piece of hardware then the Cupertino giant might be planning a standalone event for a much grander entry of the M1X.

Stay tuned for more information on the upcoming iMacs.
